The entrance is understated, tucked into a classic Milanese building that blends seamlessly with the neighborhood’s authentic character.

Location & Getting Around

You’re in Porta Garibaldi here, which means you’re close to the business district but far enough from the tourist chaos around the Duomo. The Garibaldi train station is about a ten-minute walk — super handy for airport connections or day trips. What I really appreciated was how walkable everything felt; you can stroll to Corso Buenos Aires for serious shopping, or head toward Brera when you want those Instagram-worthy aperitivo spots.

The Room Experience

Each room feels carefully curated rather than cookie-cutter corporate. Mine had this perfect mix of contemporary design and Italian warmth — think clean lines but with actual personality. The bed was genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. Small details matter here: decent lighting for getting ready, enough outlets where you need them, and blackout curtains that do their job.

Neighborhood Life

Here’s what guidebooks won’t tell you — this area comes alive in the evenings when locals finish work. There’s a great little restaurant called Trattoria Milanese about five minutes away where you’ll hear more Italian than English, and the morning markets nearby give you a real slice of daily Milan life. The streets feel safe for evening walks, and you’re not constantly dodging tour groups like you would closer to La Scala.

  Очень чистые и уютные апартаменты. Есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Близко к Дуомо и центральным улицам, все в пешей доступности. Также близко к метро, можно везде доехать. Персонал очень отзывчивый и приветливый. Имеется круглосуточная стойка регистрации. Рекомендую.

  Personalen var jättetrevligt och hjälpsam på allt man behöver. Området är nära på allt komnikation tåg; bus, tunlbana. Många restaurangt det var trevlogt att bara där.
  
  What could be improved: Adressen var svårt att hitta. Min möbil hade ingen ladnig vi kunde inte ser den nummeret. Det fanns inte. Vi fick hjälp av en kvina vi var vid doren men vi har inte sett gata nummer.

  Our stay was great! location was perfect, located in Porto Romana , we easily arrived from aeroport to our property, everything in property was brand new, it was clean and comfy, room had kitchenette with coffee machine, all the facilities, dining area etc , overall it was great, i would stay there over and over againn!

  EVERYTHING. Even it's just for 2 nights, I got to have my own studio apartment in Milan because it was a full home to myself with the kitchen and everything. The finishing was top tier Italian finishing and furniture. I like watching TV too so the Smart TV was a plus! The interiors felt luxurious plus you can hear the church bells ring in the mornings. It gives the full romanticized local Milanese experience. There's a grocery 5-8 minutes away by walking and I got to buy ingredients for breakfast, and stay in on the first rainy day. The place is also very secure with the code only known by the residents in the building/floor. A gym is also available at the lobby but I wasn't able to use it. It's good enough for a visit! The 24h reception also made me feel very safe and assisted.
  
  Going around Central Milan was also convenient, and especially when riding the trains, you won't be with the other tourists because this location I think is residential. If you're a picky traveler like me, this is a good location.
  
  What could be improved: Maybe the check-out time! I think it's uniformed to Milan stays (11AM) but if it could be pushed to 12NN, would be perfect. It's a nice-to-have but not a a dealbreaker.

  Amazingly clean and comfortable. Perfect location close to Tram and Metro.
  Excellent facilities in the apartment.
  Kind and polite staff.
  I wish they had twin beds.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing really. But the apartment had a weird smell, something like swage or maybe something else , not sure.
  Specifically noticeable when coming to the room from outside, needing to open the windows quickly.

  1. The hotel is very clean and safe, and entry is only permitted with a secret number.
  2. The place is upscale and has all the necessary supplies
  3. All services are available around the hotel.
  4. High-class and respectful treatment from all employees.
  
  What could be improved: There is no air conditioning in the place. In the winter, there is no problem other than the outside noises when the windows are open. But in the summer, I cannot imagine the situation.
