I’ll be straight with you — this isn’t central Milan, but that’s actually part of its charm. The Ripamonti Corvetto neighborhood feels more like where actual Milanese people live, not just where tourists pass through. You’ve got local cafés where the barista remembers your order, and honestly, the metro connections aren’t bad at all. I mean, you’re looking at maybe 20-25 minutes to reach the Duomo, which is pretty reasonable when you consider you’re paying significantly less than you would in Brera or Navigli.

What Makes It Work

The space itself feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed home than a typical hotel room. Alessia (I assume that’s the owner) has clearly put thought into the details — the furniture feels chosen rather than just ordered from a hotel catalog, and there’s actual personality in the décor. The kitchen setup is particularly useful if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights, though I found myself eating out more often than I expected just because the local food scene was better than anticipated.

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something intimate about the whole experience that you just don’t get in larger hotels. The space feels private, almost romantic in an understated way, and you’re not dealing with crowded lobbies or fighting for elevator space. Plus, having your own little corner of Milan means you can actually relax without feeling like you need to be “on” all the time.   What could be improved: destul de rece in casa. Sejurul fiind in luna Noiembrie nu am vazut nicio sursa de caldura. Am contactat gazda si ni s-a comunicat ca este sistem centralizat – poate in pardoseala deoarece calorifere nu erau. Oricum si pardoseala era rece.

  Posizione ottima per spostamenti anche in città, strada tranquilla, appartamento minimale ma con tutti i comfort, camera grande e secondo letto in soggiorno adibito a camera se aperto il divano-letto. Ottima la gestione dell'apriporta condominiale da remoto

  What could be improved: E’ la prima volta che ci imbattiamo in una situazione simile. Alle 23.00 arriviamo con le indicazioni dell’agenzia (con link e codici che non funzionavano). Il cancello non si apre, il link che dovrebbe aprire il portone non lo apre, cominciamo con i codici e non funzionano. Chiamiamo per 1 ora e mezza e alla fine decidiamo di chiedere aiuto ad altri appartamenti. Entriamo nell’appartamento e l’odore non era dei migliori. Il letto/divano direzionava verso il centro… la doccia passa da bollente a fredda, la tv in camera soggiorno non funzionava e la pulizia lasciamo stare. Tralasciando che di notte hanno cercato di aprire il furgone. E non solo a noi. Un disastro su tutti i fronti.

  Le due camere sono abbastanza spaziose e carine, così come il terrazzo.
  La posizione molto comoda, vicino alla metro.
  
  What could be improved: La cucina è impraticabile, vecchia e sporca.
  Il bagno sicuramente da migliorare, la tavoletta del water era rotta e in generale l’odore non era gradevole.
  Pulizia generale dell’appartamento molto molto carente. Nell’usato il phon è venuta fuori una palla di polvere.
