Aurum Aparthotels Città Studi Overview

First Impressions

When I first spotted Aurum Aparthotels Città Studi on Via Giovanni Antonio Amadeo, I wasn’t expecting much from the somewhat industrial-looking facade. But honestly, that’s part of what makes this place work — it’s tucked into this quiet residential street where you can actually hear yourself think, yet you’re still in Milan. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that immediately tells you this isn’t your typical cramped city hotel.

The Neighborhood Reality

Città Studi might not sound glamorous, but here’s what I learned — it’s actually brilliant for anyone who wants to experience Milan without the tourist circus. You’re surrounded by university students and locals going about their real lives, which means authentic trattorias and cafes that don’t charge tourist prices. The Lambrate metro station is maybe a 10-minute walk, and from there you can reach the Duomo in about 20 minutes.

The Apartment Experience

This four-star aparthotel gets the balance right between hotel service and apartment independence. My room — well, it’s more like a proper studio — came with a fully equipped kitchenette that I actually used (rare for me, but the local market nearby made it tempting). The space feels thoughtfully designed rather than just functional, with good lighting and enough outlets in the right places. You know what impressed me most? The soundproofing — even with the windows open, Milan’s traffic becomes just a gentle hum.

Practical Perks

The staff here seems genuinely helpful without being overly formal, which I appreciate. They pointed me toward this little restaurant around the corner that serves incredible risotto — definitely not something you’d find in a guidebook. There’s parking available too, which is honestly a miracle in Milan, though you’ll pay extra for it. The Wi-Fi actually works properly, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing.

Why Guests Love It

What makes Aurum Aparthotels work is that it doesn’t try to be everything to everyone. Instead, it nails the essentials — clean, comfortable spaces with enough room to spread out, a location that feels authentically Milanese, and prices that won’t completely destroy your budget. If you’re the type who prefers exploring neighborhoods over checking items off a tourist list, you’ll get it. The university energy in the area keeps things lively without being chaotic, and you’re still close enough to reach Milan’s main attractions when you want them.

Reviews of Aurum Aparthotels Città Studi

  • Great apartment to be able to enjoy easy access to all Milan has to offer – Dave from Ireland – 28 October 2025 (9/10)

The staff on reception were helpful and friendly, the apartment was very spacious and comfortable. the location was easily accessed via metro and trams.

  • Good – Doruntina from Kosovo – 24 September 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: The staff was very welcoming, and the cleanliness was at a high level. However, the location is quite far from the city center, and the neighborhood didn’t feel very safe to walk around. On top of that, parking under the hotel comes with an extra charge, so if you need to go to the center, you’ll end up paying for parking both at the hotel and in the city center.

  • Superb – Al-shatti from Kuwait – 13 September 2025 (9/10)

    Privecy, security, clean .
    each floor has one flat
I have booked 2 bedroom apartment it was very comfertable and big and has very huge balcony

What could be improved: Location 15 min far from Duomo without traffic
Parking fees was high 25€ per day

  • Good for short/long stay. – Abdullah from Saudi Arabia – 1 September 2025 (8/10)

Spacious and clean room with nice balcony. Sofa and bed was comfortable and big bathroom. Kitchen look good although we didn’t use it. Air conditioning in all rooms. Parking available on site but you need to pay. Reception was professional and welcomed us with all required information. Tram and metro are close to the location.

What could be improved: You need to pay for the paring. A bit out side the city center. Internet is too low speed. Check in time is limited 1-8 pm.

  • Very good – Ramazan from Netherlands – 7 August 2025 (8/10)

Spacious and clean room, with big bathroom and useful kitchin.

What could be improved: A bit outside city centre, and the neighbouring visitors were very loud in the night (screaming children at 1am in the night)

  • Good and nice apartment with secure parking possible on site – Ciprian from Romania – 20 July 2025 (9/10)

Nice apartment, clean and comfy. Staff at the reception was nice and helpfull. Parking spot secure in a underground box

What could be improved: The reception working hours – they are not available after 8pm, if you are late.

  • Super nice penthouse suite – Mark from Canada – 8 June 2025 (9/10)

The apartment is spectacular. The view and location is good. It has everything needed for a short or long stay.

What could be improved: The internet is slow and unstable making remote work difficult. I had to rely on cell phone data sharing.

  • It's a nice stay – Almin from Bosnia and Herzegovina – 3 May 2025 (9/10)

The rooms are very comfortable and clean.

  • Clean, quiet, comfy, modern. – Matt from United States – 23 April 2025 (8/10)

Location good. Staff nice. Bed comfy, clean.

What could be improved: No soap in shower, no detergent for laundry washer. But we were able to purchase soap nearby. No dryer for clothes. But towel warming rack did the job.

  • Superb – Pereyra from Switzerland – 14 April 2025 (9/10)

    Clean and quiet apartment.

What could be improved: All good!
