The Portello area has this great mix of business energy during the day and surprisingly good dining options at night.

The Room Experience

The room design is smart and functional, exactly what you’d expect from the B&B Hotels brand but with some nice Italian touches. Everything’s compact but never feels cramped — they’ve really maximized the space well. What impressed me most was how quiet it stays, even though you’re in a pretty busy part of the city. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given with European hotels), and the Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout.

  The location was great, being close to 2 Metro stations. There were unfortunately few restaurants and eateries open in the evening in the vicinity, so you need to plan to eat elsewhere before returning to the hotel in the evening. The breakfast available was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were excellent and professional, with lots of help and advice when needed. I thought the location and standards on site would have been more expensive. A great place to stay and I am planning to return next year.
