You’re staying right in the heart of Milan’s city center, just a few minutes’ walk from Porta Venezia — which locals know is one of the most vibrant areas for aperitivo culture. The Quadrilatero della Moda is practically on your doorstep, so you can easily wander over to Via Montenapoleone for serious shopping. What I love about this spot is that you’re close enough to everything that matters, but tucked away on a quieter street that actually lets you sleep at night.

Each room here tells its own story, and I’m not being dramatic — they’re all themed around different operas and designed with incredible attention to detail. The luxury here isn’t the flashy, gold-everything kind you might expect, but rather something more refined and artistic. You’ll find handcrafted furniture, rich fabrics, and honestly some of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced in Italy. The bathrooms are works of art themselves, with mosaic details that make your morning routine feel special.

Dining Experience

The Rubacuori restaurant downstairs serves modern Italian cuisine that’s actually worth writing home about. Chef Bartolini creates dishes that feel both innovative and rooted in tradition — you know what I mean, the kind of food that surprises you but still feels familiar. The wine list leans heavily into exceptional Italian selections, and the sommelier really knows their stuff. Room service is available, but honestly, you’d be missing out if you didn’t experience the dining room at least once.

  Very pretty hotel a short walk from the city centre and next to a metro station (so 10 minutes from Linate!). Staff very friendly, dinner and breakfast excellent. Room well appointed (Exec double).
