The Duomo is maybe a 15-minute walk, but honestly, I found myself exploring this area more than the tourist center.

The AC works really well — and trust me, you’ll appreciate that during Milan’s sticky summers. The “silent” part of the name isn’t marketing fluff either; even with the windows facing the street, the soundproofing keeps things remarkably quiet at night.

Practical Comforts

What struck me about this four-star place is how they’ve nailed the details that matter. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was working remotely for part of my stay), and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase. The bathroom is compact but well-designed — good water pressure, decent toiletries. There’s no on-site restaurant, but with Milan’s incredible food scene right outside your door, that’s hardly a problem.

  The heating problem was not fixed even after informing the host.
  After turning on the light bukb in the washroom, there was some byrning like smell but didn't notice any flashed or steam or source of smell.
