First Impressions

Cozy Room – 2 doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s what I liked about it right away. Tucked into Via Giuseppe Bruschetti, it’s one of those places where you realize the name pretty much says it all — this is about comfort, not flash. The building feels authentically Milanese, with that slightly weathered charm you get in the Stazione Centrale area.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what’s great about staying near Stazione Centrale? Everyone thinks it’s just about train connections, but the neighborhood has this working energy that I actually enjoyed. Milan‘s main station is literally a few minutes’ walk, which meant I could store my luggage and explore without dragging it around the city. The area has plenty of cafes where locals grab their morning espresso, and you’re close enough to the Porta Garibaldi district that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes.

The Room Experience

The room lived up to the “cozy” promise — small but thoughtfully arranged. I mean, this isn’t a sprawling suite, but everything you need is there and placed where it makes sense. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a three-star property, and the window gave me a nice slice of Milan street life to watch while I had my morning coffee. The Wi-Fi actually worked well, which isn’t always guaranteed in older buildings around here.

Practical Details

What struck me was how efficiently everything was organized. The shower had good water pressure (something I’ve learned not to take for granted in European city hotels), and the heating worked perfectly during my October stay. There’s a small kitchenette area that’s handy if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops and save some euros on meals. The staff was helpful without being overly chatty — they clearly know most guests are either catching trains or exploring the city center.

Why Guests Love It

With an 8.6 rating, this place gets what budget-conscious travelers actually want. It’s clean, the location works for getting around Milan, and there’s something refreshing about a hotel that focuses on doing the basics really well rather than promising amenities it can’t deliver. If you’re spending most of your time exploring Brera or shopping in the Quadrilatero, you just need a solid base — and that’s exactly what you get here.

  La ubicación es perfecta si vas a coger trenes en tu viaje ya que está a diez minutos andando de la estación central. Respecto al centro tampoco queda excesivamente lejos y está bien comunicado.
  Tenemos que resaltar que los anfitriones están pendientes en todo momento y te resuelven cualquier duda al instante.
  Relación calidad-precio excelente.
  Lo único que podríamos decir es que el barrio es un poco oscuro, pero no hemos tenido ningún tipo de problema.

  Alloggio a breve distanza dalla Stazione Centrale e comunque servito dai mezzi ATM. Accesso semplice dalla strada, poi al piano tramite codici. Nel disimpegno che consente l'accesso alle camere, una cosa non frequente e molto apprezzabile: è presente un piano con bollitore, macchina del caffè, cialde e capsule, vari tipi di tè, tazze, e quanto necessario a prepararsi un caffè o un tè. In un minifrigo, sempre disponibile acqua fresca. Camera piccola, ma molto confortevole. Letto comodo. Riscaldamento giusto. Il bagno è il vero punto di forza dell'alloggio: grande, ben fatto, comodo, nuovissimo e pulitissimo, con vano doccia ampio e comodissimo, con soffione fisso in alto e doccino manuale. A muro dispenser di shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Il miglior bagno visto nel 2024.
  
  What could be improved: Illuminazione "da comodino" ai lati del letto realizzata con lampade a muro traforate, molto suggestiva ma inadatta alla lettura. Come sempre, prese insufficienti.
  In bagno, altrimenti quasi perfetto, stona la presenza di un cavo elettrico (che alimenta il phon), che esce direttamente da un buco nel muro. Ancora, due piccoli difetti: 1) il saltarello dello scarico del bidet non si apre e rimane quindi chiuso, impedendo all'acqua di defluire, e 2) il lavandino è ampio e comodo, ma non ha pendenza nella parte piana restrostante la vaschetta, per cui l'acqua che ci va sopra, ad un certo punto tende a sgocciolare sul pavimento.
