The morning espresso ritual at the corner bar becomes part of your routine, and you’ll find yourself nodding to the same shopkeepers after a couple days. The Quadrilatero della Moda is practically on your doorstep, but honestly, I spent more time wandering the narrow side streets discovering family-run trattorias that don’t even have English menus.

The apartment has that lived-in feel that some people love and others might find a bit too authentic — I mean, this is a three-star place, so don’t expect marble everything. The room I stayed in was spacious enough, with windows that actually open (rare in city centers), and the kitchen had everything you’d need if you hit up the local markets. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re smack in the middle of everything.

Daily Rhythms

Mornings here have this lovely rhythm — you wake up to church bells from Santo Stefano Maggiore next door, grab coffee from the bar downstairs, then you’re already in the flow of Milan’s day. The evenings are when this location really shines, actually. While tourists are heading back to hotels near Centrale, you’re settling into aperitivo hour like a proper Milanese, watching the piazza transform from daytime hustle to evening social scene.

  What could be improved: Dirty dusty air heater. Dirty fungal windows. Pieces falling apart, quilts was missing. Looks like old used flat adapted for "luxury" with painted furnitures. It even doesn't stand next to luxury.

  The host was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious, fully equipped with a kitchen, and extremely comfortable. It’s located just a few minutes’ walk from the Duomo of Milan, allowing us to visit early in the morning and capture photos without crowds. The area is close to many attractions, convenience stores, and restaurants — we didn’t need to use public transportation at all, which also reduced the risk of pickpocketing.
  
  What could be improved: The parking area is on the rooftop and can only be accessed by driving into a lift — it requires quite some skill, which was both stressful and nerve-racking. The building is rather old, the elevator had issues, and the building attendant couldn’t speak any English.

  The apartment's location was central and perfect.
  
  What could be improved: Property had many issues. Lighting was very bad in the house. Some parts were very dark. Secondly, the bathroom shower had a block, and after going back and forth with the second host, it was finally sorted. He was very rude and advised "Shit happens sometimes" I didnt find that respectful at all. The first host never provided guidance; however, there are house rules/ details that can be found in case of an emergency—pure lack of communication. We ended up cancelling all our plans and tickets due to water issues. The heater sometimes will work, won't. All power plugs are old meaning they dont comply with European standards so even though they have provided microwave its useless. Toilets was dirty and towels sticks. I was told this was cleaned before we checked in, then how come the bathroom shower was clogged! Even the maintenance guy said this is jammed and not working!. There is no way the whole apartment can be called "Luxury". There is no luxury or near by. These are basic apartments in a good location with no facilities. I would be super careful if you are booking this accomdation at your risk. This was my biggest mistake to book this place.

  What could be improved: This is not a luxury apartment in any shape or form – it’s more of a student dorm. We booked last minute due to a cancelled booking and it was not great – for the price charged it was v underwhelming

  Location was ideal for central Milan and our plans for the few days
  
  What could be improved: It was far from luxurious… air conditioning in living room not working during a particularly warm weather period, the bath had hairs in it, there was no body wash soap in container, the bath surround was mouldy, the bath served also as a shower and was not ideal… very high climb in to bath, with narrow area for shower and no non-slip mat… not ideal for people with limited range of mobility!
  Kitchen old, shabby, old appliances, drawers not clean, only essentials were 4 coffee pods, no dishwasher or dishwashing soap!
  Living area… air conditioning not working and reported immediately, and then again three days later… offered an upgrade at that point but we were just about to leave for a concert and checking out next morning… too little too late!

  Bedroom… matress was 6” too small for frame… sharp edges on frame, built in wardrobe was musty/
  smelly… wouldn’t hang clothes there, exposed air conditioning area was shabby, shelving and general paint work was worn out
  Altogether totally disappointing!!!
