You know what I love about this spot? It’s in Sant’Ambrogio, which means you’re close to the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio — one of Milan’s most beautiful churches that tourists somehow always miss. The area has this authentic residential vibe where you’ll see locals doing their daily shopping and kids playing in small courtyards. From here, you can walk to the Navigli district in about fifteen minutes, or catch the metro to Duomo when your feet need a break.

The Space Itself

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed, which seems to be Easylife’s thing — making small spaces feel functional rather than cramped. Each unit comes with its own kitchen setup, which is actually pretty useful when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something simple. The apartment-style layout means you get a bit more privacy and flexibility than a standard hotel room, plus there’s something nice about having your own little corner in Milan.

What really sold me on this area was stumbling across the morning market on Via Foppa — it’s about a seven-minute walk and has some of the best produce I found in the city. There’s also this tiny restaurant called Osteria del Borgo just around the corner that does incredible risotto, and the locals seem to treat it like their personal dining room. The Sant’Ambrogio metro station connects you to the green line, so getting around is straightforward once you figure out the system.

  Good location with many cafe and restaurants. Nice, luxury spacious apartment. The kitchen is big. Many kitchen wares for big group like us to use. I love the master bedroom with big modern bathroom. The staff (Rommi) is friendly and easy to work with. We came late at night but he was patiently meeting us up late at night! Kudos to Rommi!
