Easylife – Milano Santa Cecilia 6 – Duomo Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Easylife – Milano Santa Cecilia 6 – Duomo, you immediately get that “local apartment building” vibe rather than typical hotel grandeur. It’s tucked into a quiet residential street in Milan‘s city center, and honestly, I almost walked past it the first time — there’s no flashy signage or doorman. But that’s actually part of its charm. This three-star property feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a corporate hotel, which some travelers absolutely love.
Location & Getting Around
Via Santa Cecilia sits in one of those perfect Milan spots where you’re close enough to everything but away from the tourist chaos. The Duomo is literally a 10-minute walk — I timed it — and you’ll pass some great little cafes and shops along the way. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to grab groceries or find a decent restaurant without walking forever. The nearest metro stop connects you to the rest of the city pretty seamlessly, though honestly, you’ll probably end up walking most places from here.
The Apartment Setup
Each unit is basically a small apartment rather than a traditional hotel room, which explains why it feels so different. You get a compact but functional kitchenette — nothing fancy, but perfect for making coffee in the morning or heating up leftovers from that amazing risotto place down the street. The furnishings are modern and clean, though not particularly exciting. Think IKEA meets Italian practicality, which actually works pretty well for short stays.
Daily Life Here
There’s no traditional hotel breakfast or concierge service, so you’re pretty much on your own — which means either grabbing pastries from the bakery around the corner or making your own coffee. The staff is helpful when you need them, but they’re not hovering around 24/7. I found the building quiet, even though you’re right in the city center. The other guests seemed to be a mix of business travelers and couples exploring Milan, all pretty respectful of the residential feel.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with amenities or over-the-top service, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable base in an excellent location at a reasonable price. You’re paying for that prime Milan address without the premium hotel markup. The apartment-style setup means you have some independence, and honestly, after a long day of sightseeing, it’s nice to spread out a bit rather than being cramped in a tiny hotel room. If you want to experience Milan like a temporary local rather than a tourist, this place actually nails that feeling pretty well.
Hotels in Milan dot historic Brera district, cathedral squares, and design quarters brimming with artisan workshops.

Reviews of Easylife – Milano Santa Cecilia 6 – Duomo
Very good – Anonymous from Canada – 29 November 2025 (8/10)
It was very close to the duomo, which is pretty nice. The staff answered very quickly when we had a problem.
What could be improved: You can hear in the morning and at night the stores closing/ opening.
When we got there at 3pm, which is the check-in time, the cleaning hadn’t been done. Which I don’t think is normal since the check-out is at 10 am. The state it was left in was pretty disgusting. All the things that we are asked to do before leaving to maintain the place clean, hadn’t been done (trash everywhere, empty bottles in front of the windows, dirty dishes in the sink, dry pee in the bidet, etc)
We got a fresh set of blankets and towels. But for the bigger blankets, we don’t know when’s the last time they were cleaned (as they were in the living room to begin with and simply put away in the bedroom)Very good – Daniela from Chile – 29 July 2025 (8/10)
Ubicación excepcional y departamento de lujo
What could be improved: No tiene aire acondicionadoTop! – Sonia from France – 23 February 2025 (8/10)
Exceptional – Marialuisa from Italy – 13 February 2025 (10/10)
Moderno, attrezzato, comodo
What could be improved: Non prendevano i canali televisivi se non a pagamento. Tuttavia attraverso youtube si possono vedere filmMilan less enjoyable then we would have liked – Dana from Australia – 6 September 2024 (3/10)
Location was great and apartment was a good size.
What could be improved: This is for the owner as I hope you make some improvements for your future guests.
The apartment was Smelly.
Dirty stained floors.
Cigarette burns on lounge furniture.
White material bed head was stained and dirty from years of use.
Washing machine had a broken detergent tray component.
Very old air conditioner that did not work well, emitted a horrible smell and leaked on ceiling.
Does not reflect photos. It’s been a very long time since it has seen a makeover.
Cracks and stains over all walls.
You could see straight through the lintel above the front door.
Bathroom smelled like urine from the drain in the shower down pipe.
Bathroom was completely missing a door .
Ironing board had no cover.
Quilts had no covers.
Bed and couch bed very uncomfortable.
Building was dark and well in need of updates.
Not to mention the noise from the street and the car stacker car park directly opposite apartment that sounds like they were crushing vehicles all nightSuperb – G from Netherlands – 6 January 2024 (9/10)
What could be improved: Door de dunne wanden was heel veel geluid in de buurt duidelijk hoorbaar in het appartement.Disappointing – Sahra from Turkey – 13 September 2023 (4/10)
Superb – Τάλαρου from Greece – 2 August 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: the quality and condition of furniture and repairs in general
