Feel Like Home In Milan Overview
First Impressions
Feel Like Home In Milan sits on Via Padova in a neighborhood that feels refreshingly authentic — you know, the kind of area where locals actually live rather than just tourists passing through. The name pretty much says it all, and honestly, they deliver on that promise. It’s a four-star property that gets the balance right between comfort and that lived-in feeling you want when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.
Location & Getting Around
Via Padova isn’t exactly the tourist center of Milan, but that’s actually what I liked about it. You’re in a proper Milanese neighborhood with markets, cafes where people read newspapers, and that genuine city rhythm. The metro connections are solid — you can get to the Duomo in about 20 minutes without the hassle of staying right in the thick of things. Plus, there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving, which isn’t always a given in Milan.
The Space
Each apartment here feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel unit. The kitchen is properly equipped — I mean, you could actually cook a real meal if you wanted to, not just heat up leftovers. The room layouts vary, but they’ve got this comfortable, slightly eclectic vibe that works. Nothing feels too precious or untouchable, which is perfect when you want to spread out and actually relax.
Daily Life
What I appreciated most was how the place lets you slip into a Milan routine. There’s a great little restaurant around the corner that does proper Milanese classics — the kind of spot where the owner remembers your order after two visits. The building itself has character (it’s not some glass box), and the staff seems to understand that sometimes you just need local recommendations rather than tourist attractions. They actually know the neighborhood, which makes a difference.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea if you want to stumble out your door onto the Navigli or wake up staring at the cathedral. But for travelers who want to experience Milan as more than just a checklist of sights, Feel Like Home In Milan delivers exactly what it promises. The 8.2 rating reflects what you get — solid comfort, authentic location, and that rare feeling of actually living somewhere rather than just visiting it.

Welcoming hosts (they prepared additional fans for cooling the room for us – we highly appreciated it!)
What could be improved: The Metro station nearby was temporarily closed which made it harder to reach by foot at high temperatures (or implied additional bus transfer). They cost of apartment is not all you will pay – Martin from United Kingdom – 29 October 2024 (3/10)
What could be improved: Not the room we booked as shown on pictures and only told of late checking in fee after paying non refundable payment for the stay

What could be improved: Quartiere abbastanza degradatoNice stay in Milan – Clara-andreea from Romania – 26 July 2024 (9/10)
The host is just lovely, she welcomed us in the best way possible and was extremely helpful. Nice apartment with all the facilities you may need, from kitchen tools to hair drier and iron. AC was great and the bed very comfortable. The balcony was enjoyable as well.
What could be improved: The only downside is the neighborhood, which is full of questionable people. However, the property is behind 2 gates, which made things feel way more safe.Bad – Adel from Libya – 17 July 2024 (1/10)
Nothing
What could be improved: The air conditioner was not working the promised to fix it in 2 hours after we arrived but they didn't. We left the place and booked another hotel because of hot weather and the coffe machine was not working also we bought some things to cook some food but the oven wasn't work.
Alot of insects in the room.
We needed help but no body answer after many tryings they answered but they did nothing. So we took our luggage and left
Bad experience.Exceptional – Asmanka from Latvia – 13 November 2023 (10/10)
Very friendly staff, provide us with information about nearest restaurants, and shops. Not far from metro, and bus station very close to the apartment. We used only metro, all lines different directions. And there are 10-15 minutes walk till night bus station.
What could be improved: District not the best, but nothing special, like in other cities.Superb – Latri from France – 28 July 2023 (9/10)
Easy access, very nice personnel, secure parking
Clean flat near Milan City centre – Jiho from United Kingdom – 10 June 2023 (7/10)
It was clean and good local information was given when checking in. Supermarket is on the other side of the road.
What could be improved: Microwave wasn't available and the flat was so warm without air-conditioning.
