Hotel Bagliori Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Hotel Bagliori, you immediately get the sense this is a place that knows its purpose — it’s not trying to be anything fancy, just genuinely comfortable. The lobby has this warm, welcoming feel with clean lines and thoughtful touches that make you realize this three-star spot actually gets hospitality right. I mean, after trudging around Milan with luggage, there’s something refreshing about a place that just works without any pretense.

The Stazione Centrale Advantage

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally in the Stazione Centrale area, which honestly gets a bad rap from some travelers, but they’re missing the point. Yes, it’s busy and urban, but you can walk to Milan’s main train station in about five minutes, which is golden if you’re doing day trips or arriving late. The neighborhood has this authentic working Milan vibe, with local cafés and shops that aren’t trying to charm tourists — they’re just doing their thing.

Room Reality Check

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d hope for — clean, well-designed, and surprisingly quiet considering you’re near a major transport hub. Nothing groundbreaking, but the bed was actually comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and there’s decent storage space. The bathroom felt modern enough, and honestly, after a long day exploring the Duomo or wandering through Brera, you just want a space that works — and this does.

Food and Neighborhood Eats

The hotel’s breakfast gets the job done, though I’d honestly recommend exploring the area for meals. There’s this fantastic local restaurant just two blocks away that serves proper Milanese risotto — the kind of place you’d never find if you stayed in the touristy center. The staff actually gave me solid recommendations, which tells you they know their neighborhood well.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Hotel Bagliori isn’t going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but it delivers something more valuable — reliability and genuine value. The service feels personal without being intrusive, the location connects you to both Milan’s transport network and real neighborhood life, and you’re not paying inflated prices for unnecessary frills. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, “Yeah, I’d stay here again,” which honestly matters more than fancy amenities you’ll barely use.

Hotels near me in Milan deliver easy walks to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Sforza Castle, and charming cobblestone piazzas.

Reviews of Hotel Bagliori

  • Good – Isabel from Ireland – 3 December 2025 (9/10)

    Staff kind and friendly.

What could be improved: The mattress was a bit hard, but apparently that's typical in Italy 😅

  • Nice peaceful stay close to centrale station. – Alexander from United States – 29 November 2025 (8/10)

Nice peaceful stay close to centrale station. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable. A few blocks away from centrale station, and close to metro lines as well.

What could be improved: Very minor, but a little wear and tear. Also, the hot water can take a few minutes to warm up. But really just very minor things, i would gladly stay here again.

  • Small decent hotel at very nice location – Gm from Serbia – 29 October 2025 (8/10)

Location was nice as well as very friendly staff, while rooms are simply "good value for money".

What could be improved: Nothing much

What could be improved: It’s a 2 star but it’s really decent

  • Superb – Robert from United Kingdom – 2 October 2025 (9/10)

    Quiet, comfortable, excellent location

What could be improved: Just little quibbles. Screw on shower bracket needed tightening so the shower head would stay in position, and plug in sink didn't work

  • Perfect smaller hotel Good value – Christina from Canada – 2 October 2025 (9/10)

    Love the location
Close to good restaurants and train station
    Friendly staff

What could be improved: Breakfast could be improved

  • A wonderful holiday with a great location, friendly service, and memorable experiences. – Hoàng from Vietnam – 29 September 2025 (8/10)

Great central location, within easy walking distance to famous sites like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the train station. The service is fantastic—friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive.

What could be improved: The bathroom in the room has no door, only a glass panel that resembles a mirror, which makes showering quite cold and inconvenient with my spouse. And no elevator.

  • A good option for central Milan – Margaret from United Kingdom – 17 September 2025 (7/10)

It’s quaint, with a lot of character and very clean. Also in an excellent location with very nice staff.

What could be improved: It would benefit from a bit of modernising. In our bathroom some of the fittings look a bit tired but it was clean.

  • Superb – Ruth from United Kingdom – 6 September 2025 (9/10)

10 mins walk from train station.
In the morning able to get from hotel to Linate airport in about 50 mins via metro.

What could be improved: No fridge in the room we had but a minor thing as we were only staying one night.

  • Superb – Bria from Canada – 5 September 2025 (9/10)

I liked the staff as they were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were very nice. The balcony off one of the rooms was very nice and the outdoor yard area was great.

What could be improved: The shower was very small.
