What really worked was the soundproofing; despite being near a major station, I slept through the night without any train noise bothering me. The bathroom was compact but modern, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually had good pressure.

Nothing fancy, but the croissants were clearly from a real bakery, not some frozen situation. I watched them help this older couple figure out the metro system with actual printed maps and patience, which honestly made me like the place even more.
