The moment you step inside, there’s this warm, residential vibe that immediately puts you at ease — honestly, it’s refreshing after dealing with all those sterile chain properties.

Here’s what most tourists don’t realize about this area — you’re actually in one of Milan’s most authentic neighborhoods, away from the tourist crowds but still perfectly connected. The nearby Lambrate metro station gets you to the Duomo in about 20 minutes, and I mean, you’ll want those quick escapes back to this quiet residential pocket. There’s something really nice about walking past local cafés and seeing actual Milanese going about their daily lives instead of just other travelers with rolling suitcases.

Your Home Base

Each room here has this carefully curated feel — think contemporary Italian design without trying too hard.   I stayed at La Casa Sole this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is beautiful, very well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent just a short walk to the metro and only a few minutes from the city center and Milano Centrale station.
  The owner is an incredibly kind and helpful woman who made me feel truly welcome. She even prepared everything you may need for breakfast: croissants, cookies, cereals, milk, bread, and a full pack of bottled water. This thoughtful gesture made the stay feel even more comfortable.
  Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milan. I would happily return on my next trip!

  The location of the hotel is perfect, since you can reach the metro station and a grocery shop with all you need within just a few minutes of walking. The house was very clean and a comfortable place to stay at, with water, coffee different types of food already being there when we arrived. And the owner of the hotel introduced us to everything there when we arrived, she was very kind to us.

  Amazing stay, we are really impressed with the level of cleanliness, kitchen facilities, bathrooms was fully equipped, so many options for breakfast were included, design of the apartment and the hospitality of the owner. The location is so near from metro access and there is a good supermarket to find all your needs. This is a very nice place to relax with no noise across the day. Special thanks to the owner for the ease of check in and out.
