You know what I love about this spot? You’re literally a three-minute walk from La Scala opera house — I mean, you can practically hear the rehearsals from your window. The Duomo is close enough that you’ll find yourself wandering over for morning coffee more often than you’d expect. But here’s the thing: despite being so central, Via dell’Orso feels surprisingly quiet, especially in the evenings when the day-trippers head back to their hotels.

The Space

The room itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel. There’s a proper kitchen setup — not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes, but actual counter space where you can spread out groceries from the morning market. The design walks that fine line between elegant and comfortable, with enough character to feel authentically Milanese without being over-the-top about it.

Neighborhood Life

What really sold me on this place was stepping outside in the morning and seeing actual locals going about their day. There’s a fantastic little restaurant around the corner that doesn’t even have a proper sign — just ask the front desk, they’ll point you in the right direction. The narrow streets here connect to bigger thoroughfares, so you’re never more than a few minutes from wherever you need to be, but you get to retreat to this quieter pocket when you want to decompress.

Honestly, the 8.8 rating makes sense once you spend a night here. It’s that rare combination of location and space that’s hard to find in Milan — you get the independence of having your own place without sacrificing the prime real estate.   The suite is spacious,conformable and elegantly furnished. The Suite is in the heart of Milan, making it perfect for exploring, yet it remains exceptionally quiet , a rare and wonderful combination. It is at main floor and i have appreciated the peaceful and green outdoor area. Highly recommended! Surely i eill come back in this location
