Here’s what I love about Via delle Leghe — it’s residential enough that you get a real feel for how Milanese people actually live, but you’re still within easy reach of everything that matters. The Loreto metro station is literally a few minutes’ walk away, and from there you can reach the Duomo in about fifteen minutes without dealing with traffic or hunting for parking. The neighborhood has that lived-in quality with local cafés where you’ll hear more Italian than English, which I mean, that’s exactly what you want.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — every inch actually serves a purpose without feeling cramped. The modern touches work well here: clean-lined furniture, good lighting, and a bathroom that feels fresh and well-maintained. What impressed me most was the attention to soundproofing; despite being in the city, I slept remarkably well. The Wi-Fi is solid, and there are enough outlets positioned where you actually need them, which sounds basic but you know how often hotels get that wrong.

Neighborhood Dining & Daily Life

While there isn’t an on-site restaurant, the area more than makes up for it with authentic local spots within walking distance. There’s a fantastic trattoria just around the corner where locals actually eat dinner — not the tourist-menu places you’ll find near the cathedral. Mornings are especially nice here; you can grab proper espresso and cornetti from the bar downstairs and watch the neighborhood come alive. It’s that authentic Milan experience that’s getting harder to find in the city center.

  Tolle Lage, sowohl zu Metro als auch Cafés, Bars, Restaurants, Supermarkt im Viertel. Ausreichend Platz, auch für eine Familie mit 4 Personen, alles ordentlich und nett gestaltet.
  
  What could be improved: Bettwäsche und Handtücher für Person 3+4 auf Sofa im Wohnzimmer lagen entweder schon lange oder waren einfach nicht sauber geworden. Wurden auf Anfrage jedoch neu gebracht – toller Service! Ein 4. Stuhl fehlte. Irritierend waren die häufigen Nachrichten vor, während und nach der Reise – wir hatten jedoch auch Familie vor Ort, andere freuen sich vielleicht über den engen Support.

  The metro station Pasteur is near you, you can go to the city center and return easily by metro. And apartment is 1.2km from the Milano centrale train station, it takes 20 minutes to go to the train station.
  
  What could be improved: I didn't like that for check-in first, I must go to the office, and then after checking in at the office, I must go to the apartment and take the keys from the locker near the apartment. In my other 4 bookings in Italy, the check-in process was very easy online self-check-in at the apartment. And I also didn't like that they require 15 euros for early check-in, and they asked me to enter the apartment only at strictly 15:00, and I waited in front of the door 30-45 minutes and then entered to apartment.

  Location, close to transport links and plenty of restaurants.
  Good communication with hosts and response to our needs was excellent.
  
  What could be improved: Shower was blocked and flooded each time we used it.
  No kettle to make tea
  No cleaning products for bathroom
  Needed a toilet roll holder , we had to rest it on the bidet.
  Needed shelving in the shower to keep washing products.
  Also needed more information on the building itself, rubbish disposal, rules regs.
  Their is also a sign on the main door explicitly stating that they do not want tourists renting in the complex, which made us a little uncomfortable.

  It is very well positioned, 15 minutes walk from the train station, three minutes from the Pastelor metro station, restaurants and market nearby. It is clean, has the necessary facilities in relation to quality and price.
  
  What could be improved: At the time of booking, the tourist tax mentioned at 25 euros for two adults and a minor was not collected, and when I arrived at check-in they told me that I could only collect cash and the amount was higher, 38 euros, for which I did not receive any receipt….
