The address on Via Privata Ruggero Ruggeri might not ring any bells, but here’s the thing — you’re actually in a really well-connected part of Milan. I mean, it’s about a 15-minute metro ride to the Duomo, and the Lambrate station is close enough that you don’t feel cut off from the action. What I loved was walking around the neighborhood in the evening; there are genuine Italian cafés and small shops where you’re not competing with crowds of tourists.

The Apartment Experience

This isn’t your typical hotel room situation — each apartment comes with its own kitchenette, which honestly saved me quite a bit of money during my stay. The setup feels like a modern studio that someone actually designed for living, not just sleeping. Everything’s well-thought-out, from the decent-sized fridge to the coffee machine that actually makes good coffee (trust me, I tested this extensively).

Amenities & Comfort

For a four-star place, the amenities hit that sweet spot between having what you need without unnecessary frills. The wifi worked perfectly for video calls, which was crucial for me, and the air conditioning actually cooled the space properly — something that’s not always guaranteed in Milan’s warmer months. There’s also parking available, which is genuinely valuable if you’re planning to drive around Lombardy.

  We liked the fact that the place had plenty of space. Was well prepared, had everything you nedeed. It was private, silent, no problem with the noise.

  What could be improved: Maybe a bit expensive, but that is Milano.
  The door of the toilet was a sliding door and quite hard to hendle it.
  Coffee caps were not so good.

  The apartment is clean and pretty spacious. It has practically everything a traveler needs.
  
  What could be improved: It was pretty cold in the apartment and you are not allowed to change the temperature. And the blankets were really thin, so it felt really cold at night. Also, on the 3rd day of our stay there was an issue with the lock on the entrance gate, the gate could not be opened neither from the inside, nor from the outside. We tried calling support number from the directions, but no one answered so we get stuck outside in the rain and cold.

  Absolutely everything. Cozy little apartment with everything needed. Near a metro station and in a closed complex. If we are going back to Milano we definitely will try to book this place again!

  What could be improved: There was nothing missing, except maybe one thing: the air conditioner was constantly running and it was very cold at night. Controlling the air conditioner should be left to our discretion.

  The beds were super comfortable! The sofa bed actually pulls out and is a thick mattress which was really nice. The place had so many amenities like fridge, stove, dishwater etc.
  
  What could be improved: The shower head sometimes went over the door so a little water spilled. There was no trash can in the bathroom.
