The room — well, suite really — lived up to its name. I had space to actually unpack and spread out, which is rare in European city hotels. The kitchenette was more functional than I expected, with a proper fridge and everything you’d need for simple meals (great for those expensive Milan dining budgets, if you know what I mean). The bathroom was modern and spacious, though the shower pressure could’ve been stronger — but honestly, that’s a minor complaint.

They knew the neighborhood inside and out — where to grab the best coffee (not the tourist traps), which restaurant actually serves decent aperitivo nearby, that sort of local knowledge you can’t Google. The four-star rating feels accurate here; it’s polished without being stuffy, comfortable without trying too hard to impress.

  Amazing breakfast! Breakfast is served in the cafe on the corner of the block and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The room was clean and the amenities were great.
  
  What could be improved: The online check in did work as it was supposed to – because we arrived after midnight, it was no longer available. There were no keys, only a passcode, which was the same for every room, so basically anyone staying there could open all the rooms…

  What could be improved: When I booked through booking I had booked for 5 people. They split us into 2 rooms which was fine but there was no pull out couch. No 3rd sleeping spot in one of the bedrooms. I don't think this was a hotel problem. A booking.com problem

  Nice location near a large park. The bar downstairs is nice as well, and they close the terrace around midnight so they didn’t bother us at all.

  What could be improved: We found a contact lens in the bathroom upon check-in, so the cleaning needs to be better.
  But what I found a bit insane as a woman – there’s a waterfall shower with no other shower head or shower caps?? 😄

  We had a lovely welcome. The room was small but comfortable and was clean and cool. The breakfast was great and the welcome drink voucher was an unexpected treat. Good location for the park and for the station and express to the airport. Our room was very quiet despite being over the bar. We were able to leave our bags after checking out which was so helpful.
