Luce Suit – your windows on the city Corso di Porta Vigentina Milano Overview

First Impressions

Luce Suit – your windows on the city Corso di Porta Vigentina Milano caught my attention with its name alone — and honestly, it delivers on that promise. This three-star property sits right on Corso di Porta Vigentina in Milan, which means you’re basically in the thick of things without the chaos of the absolute city center. The building itself has that typical Milanese charm, nothing flashy but solid and welcoming.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re close enough to walk to the Duomo (about 15 minutes if you’re not stopping for coffee), but far enough away that you can actually get some sleep at night. The Porta Romana area has this great mix of locals and visitors, so you’ll find authentic trattorias next to trendy aperitivo bars. There’s a metro station nearby, which honestly saved me multiple times when my feet gave out after long days of sightseeing.

The Apartment Setup

The apartment I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Milan standards — and trust me, space is precious here. The kitchen setup was actually functional, not just decorative like some places. I mean, you’ve got a proper fridge and enough counter space to prep a simple breakfast or store those amazing pastries from the bakery downstairs. The windows really are your view into the city, just like the name suggests, and you get a genuine feel for daily Milanese life from up there.

Practical Details

The room itself felt clean and well-maintained, though don’t expect modern luxury — this is more about comfort and location than fancy amenities. What surprised me was how quiet it got at night, considering you’re on a fairly busy street during the day. The Wi-Fi worked well (crucial for staying connected), and the shower had decent pressure — honestly, after some of the places I’ve stayed in Europe, that’s worth mentioning.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to wow you with five-star service or a rooftop pool, but it does something better — it gives you a real Milan experience. You’ll wake up to the sounds of the city coming alive, grab an espresso from the corner bar like a local, and come back each evening to a comfortable base that doesn’t break the bank. For travelers who want to experience Milan rather than just visit it, this place actually makes sense. The fact that you can walk to major sights but still feel like you’re living in a neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble? That’s pretty hard to find these days.

Reviews of Luce Suit – your windows on the city Corso di Porta Vigentina Milano

  • Exceptional – Nurin from United Kingdom – 18 October 2024 (10/10)

The place is near to the metro station and there is a supermarket nearby. You also have variey choices of restaurants near the house. I suggest a pizza place near this place which is quite near the metro station. The house was very clean and well-equipped.

What could be improved: The check-in process is quite confusing. Please read the instructions and explanation carefully to avoid any misunderstanding like I did.

  • An amazing stay and would definitely return! – Sophie from United Kingdom – 17 October 2024 (10/10)

The property was the perfect location to get into central Milan and surrounding areas.

Tram stop directly outside and a 5 minute walk to the closet metro where you can be at Duomo within 2 stops!!

Apartment is clean and bed is comfy. A kitchen full of utensils, fresh towels and bedding. Just a great location to stay!

What could be improved: I think the paint work is slightly dated so could do with being redone!

    The location

What could be improved: The acensor goes up to the 3rd floor, but the apartment is on 4th floor and with luggages it is too hard to reach the property.
The bathroom door was removed, and it caused the bathroom became wet after each use.

  • Perfect location but it was not cortumer oriented service from the company that maneged the apartment. Not freandly and – Edo from Montenegro – 19 September 2023 (6/10)

    Location

What could be improved: The pickup of the key in other location, the host did not manage to bring the key at the property.

  • would 100% recommend good for visiting the city as it’s near everything, just too hot and no TV – Holly from United Kingdom – 25 May 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: no tv or air conditioning in the room was too hot

  • Enjoyable stay in good location – Regina from Ireland – 7 April 2023 (8/10)

    Kitchen had lots of utensils
    Wardrobe had lots of space
    Clean

What could be improved: Blinds allowed a lot of light in
    No TV
    Couch not very comfortable
Reception to collect keys was a while away from apartment
EU adapter does not work in plugs and only one adapter for the plugs in apartment

  • Excellent – Krina from United Kingdom – 18 March 2023 (9/10)

Property is very close to all the attractions, within 20min walking distance but the flat is still in a area which was quiet at night which was perfect. Flat was very clean and had all the amenities needed (washing up liquid, sugar, coffee etc). They even made the sofa bed for us before our arrival which was very nice of them. Would definitely stay here again.

What could be improved: Need a microwave, but thats only purely for me to sterilise my babys bottles in.

  • there is escalator but only to 3rd floor. Despite that’s I ask is there any staircase b4 booking they did mention there – Avee from Malaysia – 11 December 2022 (7/10)

the big space with all you need

What could be improved: the check in, u have to collect they key from other locations which actually is quite distance frm the apartment.
