Luxury House Belgrande Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Luxury House Belgrande on Piazza Antonio Gramsci, you immediately get that “wait, this isn’t your typical hotel” feeling. It’s tucked into this elegant square in the Sempione district, and honestly, the building has this refined townhouse vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-connected friend’s place rather than checking into a standard hotel. The entrance is understated but polished — no flashy signage, just quality that speaks for itself.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about the Sempione area — you’re actually in a real Milanese neighborhood, not some touristy bubble. The piazza itself has that authentic local energy, with residents walking their dogs and grabbing morning espresso at the corner bar. You can walk to Parco Sempione in about ten minutes, which means easy access to the Castello Sforzesco and eventually the Duomo if you don’t mind a pleasant stroll through Milan. The metro connections are solid too, but honestly, I found myself walking everywhere because the streets here are just more interesting than the typical hotel districts.
The Accommodations
The rooms at this four-star property feel more like elegant city apartments than standard hotel accommodations. Each space has been thoughtfully designed with a mix of contemporary Italian furnishings and classic touches — think rich fabrics, good lighting, and those little details that make you want to linger. The bathrooms are particularly well done, with quality fixtures and enough space to actually spread out your stuff. You know what struck me most? The windows are large enough to let in proper natural light, which sounds basic but makes such a difference when you’re getting ready for the day.
Dining & Amenities
The breakfast setup impressed me more than I expected — it’s served in this intimate dining area that feels like a private club’s breakfast room. They focus on quality Italian staples rather than an overwhelming buffet, which I actually prefer. The coffee is proper Italian standard (as it should be), and they source good local pastries and fresh ingredients. There’s no flashy restaurant or elaborate spa facilities, but that’s sort of the point — this place puts its energy into doing the essentials really well rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
Why Guests Love It
What makes Luxury House Belgrande work is that it feels authentically Milanese without trying too hard. You’re staying in a real neighborhood where locals actually live and work, but you still get the comfort and service level you want from a quality hotel. The staff genuinely knows the area and can point you toward the kind of places you’d never find in a guidebook — that little wine bar three blocks over, or the family-run trattoria that doesn’t even have a website. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though you booked it online like any other hotel.
Milan’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike paths to hidden Leonardo da Vinci sites.

Reviews of Luxury House Belgrande
Good location and a lot of space – Karmen from Switzerland – 15 September 2025 (10/10)
It is very nice apartment , nicely furnished, and location is great ( close to Metro station, good restaurants ). You have everything what you need for your stay.
What could be improved: The kitchen is very good equiped, however, to prepare dinner i think there is Not a lot of pots. But why to cook – enjoy amaizing restaurants around🤗Great location, easy to find with good access for explorinng Milan – Paula from United Kingdom – 10 September 2025 (9/10)
Great Location, clean with good facilities.
What could be improved: NothingExceptional – Iain from United Kingdom – 24 February 2025 (10/10)
Great location on the edge of China Town. Very easy to walk through the park to the castle and onto the Duomo. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Easy access to public transport.
Great location and the host was available when needed. – Christina from United States – 24 November 2024 (10/10)
The location and modern clean look.
What could be improved: NothingClean and comfortable apartment, well located, very nice host. – Catalina from United Kingdom – 29 September 2024 (8/10)
Lovely apartment, clean and comfortable, well connected. The host was amazing, very helpful and friendly.
What could be improved: There was only one shower, sofa too small for 4 guests.Exceptional – Kaarlo from Finland – 22 July 2024 (10/10)
AC was wonderful and the house was big and nice to hang out in.
We only stayed 1 night but ideal location for our stay – Evelin from Australia – 19 June 2024 (9/10)
Quite new and fresh & ideal for our family of 5.
Exceptional – Ioana from Romania – 10 June 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is very bright, with lots of natural light. It has modern furniture and all the things you need for a short stay. We have been to Milano before, but never in this neighborhood. It was the best option, we simply loved it. Many shops, restaurants, places to just walk and enjoy the city.
What could be improved: The elevator can be used only with a key, so if there are more people it is almost impossible they all use it. A second set of keys would be a good improvement.Very good – Hq from Singapore – 3 June 2024 (8/10)
The apartment and furniture are well maintain and looks new. There are AC in the apartment. They have Netflix and youtube available for the young ones. The distance to metro is accurate as per describe in the website. We did use both metro stations as they operate on different line. The sofa bed in the living room is easy to use. The convenient store is just a little further across the street.
What could be improved: A pity that no ironing board is provided, that is really a negative point for me as we always do iron on an ironing board.
Note that although there are 2 toilets, only 1 toilet had showering facility. It's our mistake for not observing the picture careful enough. You may end up 3 people waiting for the showering room for a big size family.
It will be better to ask for a photo of where the key can be retrieve as the description given is sometime hard to grasp. This is not a negative point though as the owner did send me a picture after I request. Will come back after three days to stay longer – Soliev from Tajikistan – 24 May 2024 (9/10)
