Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re walking distance to the Duomo, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups outside your window. Milan can be overwhelming if you stay right in the thick of things, but this spot gives you breathing room. I mean, you can still hear the city humming, but it’s more like a gentle soundtrack than a full orchestra.

Neighborhood Vibes

The area around Via Visconti di Modrone has this perfect mix of locals going about their business and visitors who clearly did their homework. There’s a little restaurant around the corner that doesn’t even have an English menu — always a good sign. And honestly, some of the best coffee I had in Milan was from a place just two blocks away that I stumbled onto by accident.

  We stayed for 8 days from mid to late July. The apartment is in a great location, right in the city center, close to many main attractions. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, buses right outside, and only 10 minutes to Duomo. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a Carrefour Express just 3 minutes away on foot. The apartment is super clean, safe, fully equipped, and provides essentials like oil, coffee capsules, even laundry detergent and softener. The staff, Antonio and Stefano, are very friendly and helpful, responding quickly and attentive to your needs. An amazing stay! 😊
