Martini Suite Overview

First Impressions

Martini Suite sits on a quiet residential street in Milan’s Porta Garibaldi district, and honestly, you might walk right past it if you’re not paying attention. The building itself has that understated Italian elegance — not flashy, but you can tell there’s something special inside. I mean, the name pretty much tells you what you’re getting: this four-star property is all about the suite experience, and they actually deliver on that promise.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what I love about this spot? You’re close enough to Milan‘s action without being stuck in the tourist chaos. Porta Garibaldi has this cool mix of business types and locals, plus you’ve got the train station within walking distance — which is incredibly handy if you’re doing day trips or just arrived from the airport. The Corso Como nightlife scene is just a short stroll away, but the street itself stays pretty peaceful at night.

The Suite Experience

Here’s where things get interesting — every room is actually a suite, so you’re getting way more space than your typical Milan hotel. The kitchen setup is legit too; I’m talking full-sized appliances, not those tiny European fridges that can barely fit a water bottle. The design leans modern with clean lines and neutral tones, though it’s not going to win any interior design awards. But honestly, the space and functionality more than make up for it.

Practical Perks

The staff here gets it — they’re helpful without being overly formal, which I appreciate. Parking is available (and trust me, you’ll want to know this if you’re driving in Milan), though like everywhere in the city, it comes at a cost. What really stood out was how quiet everything stays despite being in an urban area. The soundproofing actually works, which isn’t always a given in Italian hotels.

Why Guests Love It

Look, if you’re the type who needs a concierge in white gloves and marble everything, this probably isn’t your place. But if you want genuine value — real space, a proper kitchen setup, and a location that gives you breathing room while keeping you connected to Milan’s energy — then Martini Suite makes a lot of sense. The 8.1 rating reflects exactly what you get: solid, reliable, and surprisingly spacious for a city where every square meter costs a fortune.

To book hotel in Milan for fashion week elegance, travelers reserve early to pair Duomo sunrise visits with evening aperitivo rituals.

Reviews of Martini Suite

  • Convenient for transport links, comfy beds, most amazing coffee. Te – Aneta from Poland – 10 August 2025 (7/10)

The most amazing coffee, very comfy bed

What could be improved: I expected more variety for breakfast

  • paid 100 euros for a night . totaly worth it. – Gauravjain25 from Belgium – 16 June 2025 (8/10)

everything was great . if one get room here for 100 till 125 euros. then this appartment is best to stay .

  • Superb – Vladislav from Czech Republic – 24 April 2025 (9/10)

We enjoyed our stay a lot.
Our room in 3rd floor was big enough. We enjoyed nice design of the social room.
Breakfast was perfect. Very good coffe was served by 2 very polite waiters who made our days each morning. Our daughters were happy to be called "signorina" 🙂 Thank you.

  • A nice clean hotel stay 15 mins walk from the train station in Milan – Dee from Ireland – 9 April 2025 (8/10)

The room was big, airy and clean. They provided lovely shower gel/ soaps/ body cream. The beds were comfortable and they were changed daily, We liked the decór and the service from the staff.
The breakfast was very nice selection of fruits/cereals/ croissants / cakes and really good coffee served by a very pleasant waiter.

What could be improved: We were on the top floor and the stairs were a bit challenging for one of our companions,(over 70 yrs), also the room had windows in the roof which allowed the early morning sun in.(even though they had curtains)
The shower is far too small for a room of that size and I think a tall person would struggle to use it with comfort

  • Excellent except for a problem finding parking. – Nirit from Israel – 7 August 2024 (9/10)

Very clean, comfortable, really nice and elegant.

What could be improved: No parking.

  • Chic accommodation in a quieter part of town. – Caitlin from Australia – 10 July 2024 (9/10)

Having never been to Milan, or Italy for that matter, I initially thought the hotel was further from the city centre than we hoped. It didn't take long for us to realise the metro station was a short walk away and not far from main attractions at all. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. My partner and I went to breakfast one morning and there was a large group there already finishing up with their breakfast, so not many choices left for food. However, the waiter had already put aside some pastries and fruit for us, which was so kind.
This being our first stop for our Italy holiday, it was hard to know what to expect, but I would recommend The Martini Suites to other couples.

What could be improved: My only criticism is I would have preferred to have the bathroom within the room, rather than it being separate. Having said that, it was our own private bathroom, so it is only a little criticism.

  • Good – Stephanie from United Kingdom – 31 May 2024 (7/10)

Property was accessible to transport. Nearest bus is just in front which goes to Milano Centrale. Nearest metro is 8mins walk. The staff who welcomed us was very nice and offered us coffee upon arriving which I think is a plus. The filipino staff was also helpful with the direction. The staff who serves breakfast was so polite too! The room itself is clean and beds are comfortable.

What could be improved: The aircondition remote control was broken leading to not able to switch it to cool as its been set to heat and I already reported it. Unfortunately they didnt have any back up plans. I asked for a spare remote control so we can sort the aircon. Also messaged the reception several times for any alternative as we were boiling inside the room. If we could borrow any fan if there is any. But unfortunately, she can only apologise. Since we cannot even get comfortable my husband tried to sort it out and ended up resetting the aircondition. We managed to let to cool, but they have to sort it out for winter as the setting cant be changed unless they have a proper remote control. I just hope that the reception was more proactive and did something. If didnt sort it out ourselves in the middle of the night we wont be able to sleep at all.

  • Lovely, welcoming kind staff & very clean – Jodie from United Kingdom – 17 November 2023 (8/10)

The three members of staff we met working at the desk in shifts were so accommodating, kind & welcoming, two females & one male. I wish we’d of got their names but they are a credit to the suites and made the trip more welcoming & like a home from home.

What could be improved: The mattress on the sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest but that’s just me nit picking.. I slept ok & maybe something for the company to consider in the future but I would still return regardless. The ladies who shared the bed said it was very compfy and a tip maybe add some pure fresh squeezed orange juice on a morning at breakfast would be wonderful too.

  • good – Correa from Spain – 11 October 2023 (8/10)

room was clean. staff was friendly and accommodating. beds were comfy.

What could be improved: The restroom was separate. Everything else was good. Location was a bit far

  • Good – Robinson from United Kingdom – 14 June 2023 (7/10)

    lovely and clean, nice furnishings

What could be improved: very noisy, especially at nighttime. could hear noise from outside and within the hotel, resulting in very little sleep
