Meravigli Duomo Suite 2 Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Meravigli Duomo Suite 2 feels like stepping into someone’s beautifully curated apartment rather than a typical hotel. The building itself has that classic Milanese elegance — you know, the kind with those gorgeous old facades that make you slow down just to appreciate the architecture. It’s tucked away on Via Meravigli, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time, but that’s part of its charm.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Duomo, but you’re not dealing with the chaos that comes with being right on top of it. Milan‘s city center can get pretty intense, especially during fashion week or tourist season, but this little street feels almost residential. You’ve got La Scala practically around the corner, and the Quadrilatero della Moda (that’s the fashion quadrangle for shopping) is close enough that you could stumble there after your morning espresso.

The Suite Experience

The room itself is what sold me on this place. It’s spacious by Milan standards — I mean, really spacious — and the design strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and Italian style. The kitchenette is actually functional, not just for show, which comes in handy when you want to grab groceries from Peck (the famous food hall nearby) and have a proper Italian breakfast at your own pace.

What Makes It Special

This four-star property doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and I appreciate that. The service feels personal without being overbearing — they remember your name, help with dinner reservations, and actually know the neighborhood well enough to give you solid recommendations. The Wi-Fi is solid (important if you’re working), and the air conditioning works properly, which isn’t always a given in older Milan buildings.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, it comes down to feeling like you’re living in Milan rather than just visiting. You can walk to Brera for aperitivo, hit the Navigli for dinner, or just wander through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II because you’re close enough that it doesn’t require planning. The 8.1 rating makes sense when you consider that you’re getting the space and independence of an apartment with the reliability of a hotel — and in this part of Milan, that combination is pretty hard to find.

Reviews of Meravigli Duomo Suite 2

  • Everything was perfect – Klara from Albania – 22 November 2025 (10/10)

    Everything

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Central apartment helpful host ! – Χριστινα from Greece – 19 November 2025 (9/10)

Very responsive and helpful host he helped me with check in and check out with very detailed instructions. The apartment was super comfy as well as the beds and the pillows. It was very spacious apartment. Also it was super central you can go on foot to duomo in 5-10 minutes. I totally recommend this apartment.

What could be improved: The floor needed it more cleaning .

  • Amazing – Mohammed from Israel – 8 November 2025 (9/10)

Everything, fast service, good facilities and perfect location 9minutes walk to duomo and you have everything near you

What could be improved: They should improve the sound-proof system

  • Good location – Cheryl from Australia – 18 September 2025 (8/10)

    Good location. Reasonably comfortable

What could be improved: Walls were a bit grubby. Could do with a paint

  • Extremely stressful and property did not give instructions until someone at property reached out to them on our behalf – Nancie from United States – 23 June 2025 (7/10)

Close to the city centre, shops and duomo.

What could be improved: No one reached out to me prior to my arrival from the property. Due to bad weather we could not fly out from Zurich but tired to let the property know but no response. We arrival late on Monday instead of Sunday however the key was not in the lock box and no instructions. Luckily we ran into someone who lived at the property who helped us. It was extremely stressful.

  • Perfect location, clean and quiet, this is exactly what I was looking for – Jordan from United States – 14 June 2025 (10/10)

This place was perfect for my needs and everything I was looking for. My work event was about a block away at the Chamber of Congress and I didn't find any good, reasonably priced hotels around there but this apartment was waaaay better than a hotel.

It was in a very secure building that was attended by someone at the front desk or locked after he was gone for the day. The street was plenty quiet at nice so it was easy to sleep, but right around the corner from multiple different busy nightlife places if you were interested. Very close to the Duomo and other attractions, plus plenty of shops and bistros in a block or two walk for a quick bite.

It was up only one flight of stairs (or you could use the lift if you have luggage), the king bed was super comfortable, and everything was clean and cozy. Also the communicating from the owner and property manager was so easy and effective.

  • Good – Irena from Cyprus – 2 April 2025 (7/10)

The apartment is nice and conveniently located within walking distance of everything.

What could be improved: Unfortunately, the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep.

  • Exceptional – Haley from United Kingdom – 4 February 2025 (10/10)

Everything was great from meeting to collect keys to the location, comfort and cleanliness of the apartment. Even when we dropped the keys down the gap near the front gate, we had replacements within the hour, so thank you for that!!

What could be improved: Not the fault of accommodation provider, but parking was not good, but that is the whole of Milan! We managed to get a space close by as I had a disabled badge, but would have been stuck otherwise, as some public transport was not suitable for my electric scooter.

  • Absolutely fantastic! – Charlotte from United Kingdom – 5 December 2024 (10/10)

Great central location, which was perfect for seeing the best of Milan and round the corner from the theatre that I was seeing a concert at. The apartment is clean and very comfortable with everything you need. Towels, toiletries and tea/coffee making things provided. Even wine glasses and a cork screw! The noise from the road is fairly noisy, but it’s the price you pay for the central location and I didn’t find it too disturbing. In fact the building itself it’s extremely quiet and peaceful. Also more importantly it felt very safe and secure which was reassuring when staying alone as a single woman. Instructions/directions from the host were fantastic and available on WhatsApp to answer questions quickly. Really excellent place to stay and a good price for a couple of days.

  • Central Milano here I come! – Chris from New Zealand – 31 October 2024 (9/10)

Good value for such a central and great location. Super host and great comms. Cozy and well serviced apartment.

What could be improved: The offset for the amazing location is that there was quite a lot of noise from the road until about 10pm and then it was quiet and restarted around 5am. To be expected but worth noting.
