First Impressions

When I first walked into My Guest Milan Suite, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a fairly standard building in the Bicocca area. But you know what? This four-star place completely caught me off guard. The lobby has this modern, minimalist vibe that feels more like a boutique hotel than your typical extended-stay property, and the staff actually remembered my name by the second day.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about staying in Bicocca — most tourists skip this area entirely, which is actually perfect if you want to experience Milan like locals do. You’re about a 15-minute metro ride from the Duomo, but honestly, I loved having this quieter neighborhood as my base. There’s a Carrefour literally across the street, and the Bicocca shopping center is a short walk away when you need that retail fix. The Zara metro station is close enough that I never bothered calling taxis.

The Suite Experience

The room — well, it’s really more of a small apartment — was the real winner for me. I mean, having a proper kitchenette changes everything when you’re staying more than a few nights. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together, with a separate sleeping area that actually gave me some privacy when I was on work calls. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with decorative pillows that you just have to move anyway.

Practical Details That Matter

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places where the wifi barely works or there’s no decent place to sit and work. Not here. The internet was consistently fast, there’s a proper desk setup, and the kitchen actually has everything you need — not just a mini-fridge and a prayer. Plus, there’s secure parking available, which honestly saved me so much stress driving around Milan. The housekeeping team was thorough without being intrusive, coming by every few days rather than hovering.

Why Guests Love It

After spending a week here, I get why this place has such high ratings. It’s not trying to be flashy or impress you with unnecessary amenities — it just does the important stuff really well. You get space to actually live rather than just sleep, you’re in a real Milan neighborhood instead of a tourist bubble, and the value is honestly impressive for what you’re getting. I’d definitely book here again, especially for longer stays when you want to feel a bit more settled than bouncing between traditional hotels.

  Rooms are comfortable, modern and well designed. There's plenty of space and it's conveniently close to public transport so you can get around easily enough. Simona is very easy to communicate to and she was very helpful and considerate!
  
  What could be improved: Each room is part of one apartment in a residential complex, and it's not soundproofed, so it can get a bit noisy, depending on who's staying around you.

  We booked this accommodation for my wife’s parents as a birthday gift, and everything was perfect. Simona was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available for any question. Communication was smooth from the very beginning, and she gave us clear instructions and helpful tips about transportation and the city.

  The room is exactly the same as it is shown in the picture. Great location in a quiet and safe neoghborhood. Very clean and cosy.   The location is superb: just a 5-minute walk to the metro station, with a wide selection of restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach.
  Miss Simona is an outstanding host. She paid attention to every small detail, provided comprehensive and timely information from the moment of booking until checkout, and was always happy and ready to assist with any questions. Her support made the entire stay seamless.
