Navigli District Studio Overview
First Impressions
The Navigli District Studio sits right along the Alzaia Naviglio Pavese, and honestly, you can’t ask for a better spot to experience Milan’s most vibrant neighborhood. This apartment-style accommodation feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed place than a typical hotel — which is exactly what makes it special. The building itself has that classic Milanese charm, and when you step inside, you immediately get why this four-star property earned its solid 8.3 rating.
The Navigli Experience
You know what’s great about this location? You’re literally steps away from the canal-side action without being stuck in the middle of the chaos. The famous aperitivo scene happens right outside your door, but the studio itself is tucked away enough that you can actually sleep. I mean, the Navigli can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but this spot strikes that perfect balance. During the day, you can walk along the canals and duck into the vintage shops and galleries that make this area so unique.
The Space Itself
The studio layout works really well — it’s compact but thoughtfully designed with everything you actually need. The kitchen area is small but functional, which comes in handy when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something simple. The room feels modern and clean, though don’t expect tons of space to spread out. What impressed me most was how they maximized the natural light — those windows facing the canal make the whole place feel bigger than it actually is.
Getting Around Milan
Here’s something locals know that tourists often miss: this part of Milan connects you to the rest of the city better than you’d think. Sure, you’re not right next to the Duomo, but the tram and metro connections are solid, and honestly, staying in Navigli means you’re already in one of the neighborhoods worth exploring. Plus, when you’re done sightseeing in the center, you can come back to an area that actually has personality and doesn’t shut down after 6 PM.
Why Guests Love It
The Navigli District Studio works because it gives you that authentic Milan experience without sacrificing comfort. You’re not just visiting the city — you’re living in one of its most interesting quarters, even if it’s just for a few days. The restaurant scene right outside is incredible (try the small osteria two doors down), and there’s something satisfying about having your own little space to retreat to after a day of exploring. The parking situation can be tricky around here, so if you’re driving, definitely sort that out in advance, but most guests find the public transport connections more than adequate anyway.

Great place in Milan for a short stay – Jan from Netherlands – 7 November 2025 (8/10)
The location is accessible to many areas. It is easy to pick up the keys and the building is lovely. It is a nice room with a lovely bathroom. The TV is great as well and the wifi worked good.
What could be improved: The sofa bed is not the most comfortable but definitely not an issue, spacious bed.Exceptional – Anett from Hungary – 23 October 2025 (10/10)
