When I first stepped into Panoramic Home, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from an eighth-floor apartment hotel in Milan. But you know what? The name doesn’t lie — the views from up there are absolutely stunning. This four-star property sits in a residential building on Via Vespri Siciliani, and while it might not look like much from street level, the elevator ride up is worth every second.

Location & Neighborhood

The location is actually pretty clever if you ask me. You’re in a proper Milanese neighborhood, not some touristy bubble, which means you get to see how locals really live. There’s a small grocery store just around the corner, and I noticed plenty of cafés where you can grab a proper Italian breakfast. The metro isn’t exactly next door, but it’s walkable — maybe 10 minutes to the nearest station. Plus, being on the eighth floor means you’re above all the street noise, which is honestly a blessing in this city.

The Room Experience

Each apartment here feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The kitchen setup is surprisingly well-equipped — I mean, you’ve got everything you need if you want to cook with ingredients from the local markets. The furnishings are modern but not flashy, and there’s this comfortable, lived-in feeling that makes you want to actually relax rather than just crash for the night.

What Sets It Apart

Here’s the thing that really got me — the panoramic windows (see what they did with the name?) offer these incredible views across Milan’s rooftops. You can actually spot some of the city’s landmarks from up there, especially at sunset when the light hits everything just right. The staff, while not always on-site, are incredibly responsive when you need them. They seem to genuinely care about making sure you’re settled in, which isn’t something you always get with apartment-style accommodations.

Why Guests Love It

Look, if you want the full hotel experience with room service and a concierge, this probably isn’t your place. But if you’re after something more authentic — a real slice of Milan life with killer views and the freedom to do your own thing — Panoramic Home delivers. The perfect rating guests have given it makes sense once you’re there. It’s that rare find where the photos actually undersell the experience, and honestly, that’s refreshing in a world where most places promise more than they deliver.

• Casa accogliente e comoda – Irene from Italy – 19 November 2025 (10/10)

  La casa è ampia e comoda, pulita, dotata di tutti i comfort e molto luminosa.
  La posizione è perfetta, c'è la metro blu diretta per il centro e l'aeroporto di Linate a 2 min, bus e tram, e in generale è una bella zona, piena di supermercati, bar, servizi, alberata e carina. Io sono andata a piedi ai navigli.
  Per quanto riguarda la casa la cucina ha tutto, ottima per mangiare in casa. In salotto cè la tv con netflix, bel plus! Ho apprezzato molto il terrazzino, c'è una bella vista e ci sono tante piante, ma è allo stesso tempo silenzioso e tranquillo.
  Il letto è un matrimoniale comodo, la camera è super silenziosa e l'host mi ha lasciato una sezione dell'armadio. La casa ha riscaldamento centralizzato e l'ho trovata calda. In bagno ho trovato shampoo e bagnoschiuma in doccia.
  Devo dire che sono stata molto bene, la casa è effettivamente comoda e molto accogliente, anche più bella che nelle foto dell'annuncio, e l'host è stato super gentile e disponibile!
  Qualità-prezzo davvero top, se tornerò a Milano verrò sicuramente di nuovo qui. Consigliatissima!
