Plus, there’s something nice about staying on a street that actual Milanese people use daily.

The Studio Space

The room itself lives up to the “bright” promise — large windows face the street, so you get plenty of natural light during the day. It’s a proper studio setup with a compact kitchenette that’s actually functional (I made coffee and simple meals without any trouble). The space feels thoughtfully designed rather than cramped, which isn’t always easy to pull off in Milan’s city center. The bed was comfortable enough, and there’s decent storage space for a week-long stay.

Neighborhood Life

What I really appreciated was how the area comes alive at different times of day. Mornings bring locals grabbing coffee at the bar downstairs, while evenings see people heading to dinner or meeting friends. There’s a good supermarket just around the corner, and several solid restaurant options within walking distance — not the touristy places, but the kind where you hear more Italian than English. The Rotonda della Besana park is nearby too, which is perfect for a morning jog or just some quiet time.

Look, this isn’t the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but that’s sort of the point.   excellent location within 5 mins walk to metro station, and close to tram lines as well as only half hour walk away from lively neighbourhoods like navigili. A lot bigger than we expected and kitchen was kitted out well, even though we didn’t use it, but lots of grocery stores around area aswell. Not sure if anyone else has had same issue but from photos we were not sure there was a bathroom door but there was !! Nice view from window and felt authentic as it seemed to be locals living in neighbouring apartments. Check in extremely easy, button to unlock apartment door worked really well and lock box was easy to use. Did have a few issues just trying to get the door to unlock but host was really quick to respond to whatsapp chat.
  
  What could be improved: We couldn’t get air con to work but that was probably our issue and there were multiple fans in the apartment anyway so we didn’t find this an issue. Door lock a bit fiddly as you have to push/pull the door a bit depending on whether you are inside or outside which we weren’t warned about, but a man from the apartment next door helped us anyway.

  Definitely, it's the perfect location in the central area, so it was really convenient to walk around. Public transport stops, supermarkets, local shops and cafes are near, so it makes routine easier.

  The apartment was really nice, good size, clean, modern-looking, spacious, lots of furniture and very comfortable
  
  What could be improved: The original black keybox that was locked around the rails was not in the same position as the video showed it to be and therefore, considering that it was the middle of the night when I arrived, I had difficulty finding that keybox. Also, the people responding to me on whatsapp weren't so proficient in English.

  Nothing at all. I arrived at 11 pm as per my scheduled time to arrive. I had already informed the staff about my arrival and I was given a set of instructions to enter the apartment. When I arrived at the mentioned time I tried to enter the property by the instructions given but the system did not work. Upon calling the property owner he did not respond. I was left on the roads of milan till 2 am ( despite booking.com reprentative I forming me about booking an emergency alternative hotel for me) and then I had to get an accommodation elsewhere. I went to the apartment in the morning around 10 am and the door was alresdy open by someone else then I went inside.
  
  When I entered the apartment the bed was horrible and the ac system did not work. When I asked the staff to fix it they could not and I was left with a fan.
  
  This has been my worst stay ever.

  What could be improved: The staff is only working 9 am to 11 pm and the key for the apartment was broken at 2 am and I couldn’t reach anyone. I spent the night in the streets. Horrible staff no one answer my calls. I am not suggesting anyone to stay here. The apartment was also not clean and the air conditioner is shut down at some point in the midnight.
