RRRapido Home in Brera – Via Mercato Overview
First Impressions
RRRapido Home in Brera – Via Mercato sits right in the heart of Milan’s most fashionable neighborhood, and honestly, the location is probably its biggest selling point. This three-star property doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s a straightforward place to stay when you want to be in the thick of things without paying luxury prices. The building itself has that typical Milanese charm, though you’ll notice it’s more about function than flash once you step inside.
The Brera Advantage
You know what I love about staying here? You’re literally steps away from the Pinacoteca di Brera and all those cobblestone streets lined with galleries and boutiques. I mean, you can grab your morning coffee at one of the local bars (and trust me, the Italians know their coffee) and be browsing art within minutes. The Navigli district is just a pleasant walk away too, which is where you’ll want to head for aperitivo hour — that’s non-negotiable in Milan.
The Accommodation
The room itself is pretty basic, but it’s clean and has everything you actually need. Don’t expect fancy amenities or designer furniture — this is more about having a decent place to crash after long days exploring the city. The apartment-style setup works well if you’re planning to stay for more than a couple of nights, and having a small kitchenette means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and prepare simple meals. Storage space is adequate, though I’d recommend packing light.
Getting Around
What’s really handy is how connected this area is to the rest of Milan. The metro stations are close enough that getting to the Duomo or La Scala takes maybe fifteen minutes. And if you’re into shopping (I mean, it’s Milan), you’re walking distance from the Quadrilatero della Moda — though your wallet might not thank you later. Parking can be tricky in this neighborhood, so I’d honestly recommend skipping the car rental and just walking or using public transport.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this place won’t win any design awards, but it delivers on what matters most — location, location, location. You’re paying for the privilege of staying in Brera without the five-star price tag, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The 7.2 rating reflects what it is: a solid, no-frills option that gets the job done. If you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring rather than lounging in your room, RRRapido Home makes perfect sense. Just manage your expectations and you’ll be fine.

Reviews of RRRapido Home in Brera – Via Mercato
Comfortable bed. But noisy as window faced courtyard and bottles dumped in recycle in court your in early morning hours. – Linda from Canada – 31 October 2025 (6/10)
The location was great.
What could be improved: Not really a kitchen to cook out of. No coffee machine, toaster, kettle or microwaveAmazing location!! Good pick for a short stay for solo travellers. – Shashvat from India – 19 September 2025 (7/10)
Location was Superb!!!
Great choice for winter, might get a bit hot in the summer.
What could be improved: Sofa Bed and the fan (was slightly broken)Very nice. – Richard from United States – 6 September 2025 (9/10)
Location, close to restaurants and the Doumo.
What could be improved: Air conditioning did not work well.Location and apartment is excellent to experience the beauty of Milan, management needs work. – Shamal from Australia – 24 August 2025 (6/10)
Location is excellent right in the middle of the gorgeous Brera district.
What could be improved: The day we arrived we got displaced to another property in Chinatown (no air conditioning and not a nice district) because of disorganisation from Management. Nil compensation for displacement.
Towels and bedding were little musky (smelt like didn’t dry properly).
Lock box in return did not open, despite using advised pin code to open.Nice Budget Stay – David from United Kingdom – 24 May 2025 (8/10)
RRRapido was a nice small apartment that was located in a FANTASTIC location. Considering everything, it was great value for money whilst staying in Milan.
What could be improved: Sadly the sofa bed (which was the only bed) was not very comfortableGood for the location and if you simply need a place to sleep & shower – Natascia from Italy – 14 May 2025 (6/10)
Great location
What could be improved: You sleep on a sofa bed that is not super comfortable and not suitable for tall people (as of 1.85m).
Very noisy as you hear the neighbours talking from their apartment and/or watching TV. There’s only one window that gives on the stairs so not ideal.Great base to enjoy al design week has to offer – Osca from United Arab Emirates – 6 May 2025 (7/10)
Location is perfect especially during design week
What could be improved: Very basic in terms of comfort: you pay for the location especially during saloneSuperb – Veronique from Israel – 23 April 2025 (9/10)
Very clean, with everything you need and well located. Responsive staff. A nice shower with hot water and especially strong pressure, which is not so common in this kind of flat.
What could be improved: The self-checking was a bit complicated for me but the staff was very helpful on the phone. There are windows in the flat but no view, which doesn't matter for a short stay.Good – Maryna from Ukraine – 3 April 2025 (7/10)
Apartment was clean, host was nice and always reachable.
Location is 10/10. This is the main privilege of this apartment. City center can be reached by walk. Close to the metro station, restaurants, stores and city park.
Apartment equipped with all necessary facilities. Iron is not present, but it was my inattention, I didn’t check it before booking, it is not in the list.I loved to stay there – Alicia from Mexico – 31 March 2025 (10/10)
It is a nice place to stay, near the center!! Very clean and confortable!!
