Suites in Porta Garibaldi & Chinatown – City Center well connected Overview
First Impressions
Suites in Porta Garibaldi & Chinatown – City Center well connected sits right in Milan’s Sempione district, and honestly, the name tells you everything you need to know about what you’re getting into. This apartment-style accommodation is all about giving you space to spread out while keeping you plugged into the city’s energy. The building itself is modern but not flashy — it fits right into this evolving neighborhood that’s become one of Milan‘s most dynamic areas.
The Neighborhood Advantage
You know what I love about this spot? You’re walking distance from both Porta Garibaldi’s business towers and the emerging Chinatown area, which gives you this interesting mix of corporate Milan and authentic local life. The Sempione area has really come into its own lately — there are these great little bars and cafes that locals actually frequent, not just tourist spots. Plus, you can walk to Parco Sempione in about ten minutes when you need a break from all that urban intensity.
The Space
What sets this four-star place apart is that you’re getting actual suites, not just hotel rooms. Each unit has a proper kitchen setup, which is honestly a game-changer when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The layouts are smart — they’ve maximized the space without making it feel cramped. I mean, after spending days walking around Milan, having room to actually unpack and settle in makes such a difference.
Getting Around
The metro connections here are solid — Porta Garibaldi station is basically around the corner, and from there you can get to Duomo in about fifteen minutes. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: this area is also perfectly walkable to a lot of Milan’s highlights. The Navigli district is a pleasant stroll away, and even the fashion quadrilateral is doable on foot if you don’t mind a twenty-minute walk through some interesting neighborhoods.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is how it balances that apartment-style independence with hotel-level service. You get the freedom to grab groceries at the local markets (there’s a great one nearby) and cook if you want, but you’re also taken care of with proper housekeeping and support when you need it. The combination of space, location, and that authentic Milan neighborhood feel — without being stuck way out in the suburbs — makes it especially appealing for travelers who want to experience the city like locals do, rather than just passing through.

Location, and the facilities. The apartment is equipped with most of the things we needed for the short stay.
What could be improved: The only thing is that the curtains in the bedroom were not properly hung up and were pinned together. Looking at the problem, it shouldn't be a problem too difficult to solved, apart from being very high.Superb – Camelia from France – 22 December 2024 (9/10)
It's in a silent part of the city and well connected. The whole apt seems recently renovated. It looks quite nice.
What could be improved: We stayed in 4 and there were toiletries for 2 only.
Some tea/coffee would have been welcomed. Even hostels have these.
The kitchen should have some scottex. We had to use toilet paper to clean minor spils in the kitchen.
It is managed by a third party so you have an extra fee when you pay the city tax through their platform.Superb – Grace from United Kingdom – 18 October 2024 (9/10)
the property is about a 20 minute walk from the centre and a 10 minute walk from the train station it was a very nice place.
What could be improved: The walls were a little thin so could hear people around us when it was commuting time and we did get lost if the way there as we were sent the wrong address and couldn’t find where we were went to go. The host was helpful to resolve the problem and sent us the correct address. When I knew cooking is not working, I would choose Hotels mit Breakfast inclusive. – Genduen from Switzerland – 10 October 2024 (7/10)

In booking com. 00 to 11 o clock’s.Perfect apartment in great location! – Scarlett from United Kingdom – 14 September 2024 (10/10)
We loved our stay here for two people! The property is nice and spacious, very clean and great aircon. It is in a great location with a short walk to the metro which was a few stops to the duomo – under 10 minutes. The lady contact was great and accommodating, the apartment had everything we needed and we was sent clear instructions on how to locate the property 🙂
Our family trip was perfect we loved our stay of 2 adults and a 10 and 12 year old. A beautiful city and a lovely stay t – Daniel from United Kingdom – 9 August 2024 (9/10)
Location and ease of access were great. The owner was in contact and was very helpful and instructions were great. Supplies and washing machine tablets were great. Aircon was great too.
What could be improved: Not something we disliked but could do with a hairdryer and maybe a mattress topped for the sofa bed but this was still very good. Additional supplies on things like toilet roll would be useful but again not a criticism.
