Here’s the thing about Via Alcuino — you’re in the Fiera district, which honestly works better than you’d expect. The City Life towers are right there creating this modern skyline, and you’ve got the M5 purple line literally connecting you to Milan‘s center in about fifteen minutes. What I really appreciated was being able to walk to Portello Park when I needed to decompress between meetings — it’s this unexpected green space that locals actually use.

The Room Experience

The room tech integration is where this place shines. I mean, controlling everything from your phone sounds gimmicky until you’re adjusting the temperature from bed or dimming lights without fumbling for switches. The space itself feels contemporary without being cold — they’ve managed to keep it warm somehow. Storage is thoughtfully planned too, which matters when you’re living out of a suitcase.

The breakfast setup impressed me more than expected for a four-star property. It’s not just the usual continental spread — there are actual local touches mixed in with international options.   The apartment is very comfortable and clean, well equipped and probably the most convenient location I have ever stayed for a conference. I timed my walk from the apartment to sitting in a talk in MiCo at just over 6 minutes!
  
  The real star was the host. He was very attentive and kept in contact during the stay to make sure that everything was perfect. He allowed good flexibility around check in and check out.
  
  It was a genuinely great experience staying here, easily my best in this type of rental.
  
  What could be improved: The location was perfect for MiCo, it’s a little further from the city centre, but there are good transport links.

  Since the beginning the host Alberto was really kind, taking care of the parking and also being genuinely concerned about our itinerary and days spent in the city. He made the difference.
