But that’s exactly what makes this place special. The apartment sits in Famagosta, which honestly isn’t the Milan neighborhood most visitors know about, but I actually prefer it that way.

The Space Itself

This four-star spot is basically a thoughtfully designed studio that lives up to its name. The owners clearly put effort into every corner — from the exposed brick accent wall to the way they’ve maximized natural light without making it feel cramped. You know what struck me most? The kitchen setup actually works for more than just making coffee, which is rare in these compact Milan stays.

Location Reality Check

Famagosta isn’t central Milan, and I won’t pretend it is. But here’s the thing — you’re a quick metro ride from the Duomo, and the neighborhood has this authentic residential vibe that tourist-heavy areas just can’t match. There’s a great bakery two blocks down that locals actually use, and the evening aperitivo scene around here feels genuine rather than performed for visitors.

What Makes It Work

The Design Nook hits that sweet spot between functional and stylish without trying too hard. The bed is comfortable (not just Instagram-pretty), the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. I mean, the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which shouldn’t be noteworthy but somehow still is in many Milan accommodations.

Why Guests Love It

People keep coming back because it feels like borrowing a friend’s well-designed place rather than staying in a generic hotel room. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider that everything just… works.   Apartament bardzo czysty, estetycznie urządzony i komfortowy. Wszystko było przygotowane z dbałością o szczegóły, a łazienka naprawdę zasługuje na wyróżnienie – nowoczesna, dobrze doświetlona i bardzo przyjemna w użytkowaniu. Okolica spokojna, z kilkoma miłymi miejscami, gdzie można coś zjeść lub wypić pyszną kawę.
  
  What could be improved: Na minus – proces zameldowania. Aby otrzymać kody wejściowe, trzeba było uiścić dodatkową opłatę poprzez zewnętrzną stronę, o której nie było wyraźnej informacji w opisie oferty. Dodatkowo apartament znajduje się na poziomie piwnicy – choć są okna, światła dziennego jest niewiele, a widoków właściwie brak. Szkoda, że te informacje nie zostały jasno zaznaczone w ogłoszeniu.

  The apartment was very nice designed and very comfortable perfect for weekend stays.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I did not like is that in order to check in (get the codes to enter the appartment), ypu have to pay 37€ fee of the checkin website that the company uses, which I was not aware of. Consider this before your stay.
