The neighborhood itself is pretty no-nonsense, filled with commuters and travelers, but there are some decent cafés tucked between the tourist traps if you look around.

Each apartment here feels more like a proper mini home than a hotel room — there’s actually space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional; I’ve seen hotel kitchenettes that are basically for show, but these have real appliances and enough counter space to actually cook something. The modern furnishings work well with the industrial-style windows, and honestly, the whole vibe feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel.

Mornings here start early — you’ll hear the gentle hum of train activity, but it’s not intrusive, more like the city’s heartbeat. There’s no traditional hotel restaurant, but that’s actually perfect because it pushes you to explore Milan’s incredible food scene. The nearby Eataly is massive and overwhelming in the best way, plus there are family-run trattorias within walking distance that locals actually frequent. Parking can be tricky in this area, but if you’re staying here, you probably don’t need a car anyway.

  What could be improved: Difficulty in gaining access at the start of our stay. No where to hang bath towels. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers on the floor of the shower.

  Lovely clean apartment right by Milan Central Station. The staff are amazing and kept in touch even with my late arrival – something that is absolutely priceless. Check in process is really smooth. Air conditioning was spot on too! Great bathroom and strong water pressure.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing that I didn't like was that in the apartment I was in the bed folded down from the wall which meant there was no headboard. I know this isn't an issue for everyone but if I stayed again I'd ask for a traditional bed so that I could sleep better. I didn't remove any points for this though as it's personal preference.
