The Room

My room had this perfect blend of old-world character and modern comfort that you don’t always find in boutique properties. The exposed beams and original architectural details made it feel like staying in a piece of Milan’s history, but the Wi-Fi was solid and the air conditioning actually worked — small victories that matter when you’re exploring the city all day. The windows open onto either the canal or the quiet courtyard, and there’s something soothing about falling asleep to the distant sounds of the Navigli nightlife.

Neighborhood Discoveries

What I really appreciated was how the hotel sits right in the thick of things without feeling overwhelmed by tourist crowds. The Saturday morning antique market happens basically outside your door, and you’ll find yourself browsing vintage finds with your morning coffee. There’s a fantastic little trattoria about two blocks away that locals frequent — the kind of place where they don’t have an English menu but somehow you end up with the best meal of your trip.

  Great accommodation in fabulous location! Right in the heart of everything, yet quiet and secure. Stylishly designed and furnished. Very clean. Great to be met by someone at check in.
  
  What could be improved: The place would be ideal for a couple but probably a bit small for 4 people (2 adults and two teenagers). Worked for one night, but wouldn’t have done for anymore than that. The couch bed wasn’t super comfortable, but was probably pretty standard for a couch bed.

  Convenient and comfortable place. It was pretty clean. Very kind host, he explained to us where all the restaurants and bars are around us. The location was wonderful, very alive street. Very artistic and colourful neighbourhood, with lots of music and good vibes

  The location was perfect, the Metro is approx 3 blocks away, good vibe, plenty of restaurants, no need to go anywhere else. We felt safe. The apartment faces the inner patio, therefore, no noise at all. (We even visited the Sunday Flea Market!). Apartment is on the 2nd fl., clean, cozy, compact, but has everything as the description on the post. A little bit small for us (3 adults), but we spent the whole day outdoors. We did not use the kitchen. Beds were comfy, the sofa bed is a full size bed!. Nice host Aldo met with us, provided instructions. He even recommended restaurants. We enjoyed Al Coniglio Bianco very much (across from the Apt.). Grazie mille.

  The location was great. Apartment was very clean, modern, and whatever you need for your stay was available. The gentlemen who comes to give us the keys and explain everything, to answer the message less than 30 seconds. I rate 10/10.
