Arcus Pacis – Large Central Flat Overview
First Impressions
Arcus Pacis – Large Central Flat sits on a quiet street in Milan’s Sempione district, and honestly, the name tells you everything you need to know — this place really is spacious. When I first walked into this four-star property, I was struck by how it feels more like a well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel. The building itself has that understated Milanese elegance, nothing flashy but clearly well-maintained.
The Space and Layout
What sets this place apart is the sheer amount of room you get. I mean, after staying in cramped European hotels, walking into these generous spaces feels almost luxurious. The layout actually makes sense — there’s a proper living area where you can spread out, and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to grab groceries from the local markets. You know what I appreciated most? Having space to unpack properly instead of living out of a suitcase.
Location and Neighborhood
Sempione is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often overlook, and that works in your favor here. You’re a short walk from Parco Sempione and the Castello Sforzesco, but without the crowds that swarm the Duomo area. The metro connections are solid — I could get to the city center in about 15 minutes, which meant I could retreat back to this quieter corner when Milan started feeling overwhelming.
Practical Matters
The 8.8 rating reflects what you actually experience here — everything works as it should, the Wi-Fi is reliable, and the building feels secure. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area (welcome to Milan), but there are options nearby if you’re driving. I found the local cafes and small restaurant scene more authentic than what you’ll find in the touristy zones, and having that kitchen meant I could start my mornings with proper coffee instead of rushing out immediately.
Why Guests Love It
This isn’t the kind of place that tries to wow you with amenities or over-the-top service — instead, it gives you what most travelers actually want: space, comfort, and a genuine sense of living in Milan rather than just visiting it. The combination of being centrally located but on a residential street means you get the best of both worlds. For the price point and the amount of space, it’s actually quite reasonable for Milan standards, especially if you’re planning a longer stay or traveling with others.

Reviews of Arcus Pacis – Large Central Flat
Lovely flat – Rahimr from United Kingdom – 31 October 2025 (8/10)
The flat itself is lovely. A lot of space, very homely with books and nice touches. The neighbourhood is very local and not touristy and quiet.
What could be improved: The shower is temperamental, the floors were not as clean as they could be.Would recommend Arcus Pacis for a group of travellers – Julie from Australia – 19 October 2025 (9/10)
The accommodation was in a good location, takes approx. 15 minutes to walk to the Duomo, through the park.
Great local restaurant down stairs "Vess" – great food and friendly staff.
What could be improved: The hot water didn't work in the bathroom sink.Exceptional – Adaz from United States – 10 July 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: The neighborhood has many bars, so there are too many people (more than 100) hanging around until late at night. Despite all this, the noise isn't audible, and the area feels safe.
The flat was clean, roomy and in and excellent location. – Nicholas from Australia – 27 October 2024 (9/10)

Super location, central, the neighbourhood was full of bars, restaurants, shops. Everything was within walking distance. Francesco was always ready to help and answered our questions promptly.
What could be improved: The only thing I could think of and it was not a major issue: it was smelling a lot of cleaning products, it was a nice smell but was really strong when we opened the door on the first day. Otherwise it was all nice.Very good – Robert from United Kingdom – 2 March 2024 (8/10)
