The Porta Venezia district around here is where actual Milanese people live and work — you’ll find proper cafés where the barista remembers your order and little family-run shops that have been around forever. Walking to the Quadrilatero della Moda takes about twenty minutes, but honestly, the metro connections from Porta Venezia make everything super accessible.

Room Experience

My room had this smart, contemporary design that actually felt thoughtful rather than corporate. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and they’ve got those blackout curtains that make a real difference when you’re dealing with jet lag. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed — everything you need is there, and the water pressure is consistently good. Air conditioning works properly too, which matters more than you’d think during Milan’s sticky summers.

Daily Life at the Hotel

Breakfast happens in their bright ground-floor space, and it’s that perfect Italian balance — excellent coffee, fresh pastries, and enough variety without being overwhelming. The staff genuinely seem to enjoy helping guests figure out the city, and I mean actually helpful recommendations, not just the obvious tourist stuff. There’s a small spa area that’s ideal for unwinding after walking around Milan all day — nothing huge, but it does the job perfectly.

This four-star place gets the fundamentals right without any unnecessary fuss. It’s comfortable, the location genuinely works for exploring Milan properly, and there’s something nice about staying somewhere that feels connected to the actual city rather than floating above it in some tourist bubble. The value makes sense too — you’re getting solid quality in a neighborhood that most visitors never discover, which honestly makes the whole Milan experience more interesting.

  Nice location. Quiet. About 300m from a metro station on M1 redline. Nice Coffee shop around the corner. A balcony on both the living room. Close to Buenos Aires Shopping strip and about 800m from Central Station.
  
  What could be improved: Not as I reserved. Should have been a 2 bedroom apartment and it was only a one bedroom apartment. And no breakfast as described. Water and wine glasses not available. Only big and small coffee cups. I had to worry because I could not comunicate with the host until almost 24h before to check if we can make a late check-in arrangement due to travelling in late. Eventually we were able to talk and set it up but I was already looking for an alternate location when we did.

  What could be improved: Took very long time to register—stood in cold rain 15 minutes before opening door. No cases on pillows, no instructions on how to operate televisions or stove (never figured it out). No skid proof in shower or on bathroom floor and not enough towels. The space was good.

  What could be improved: Property was advertised as having 8 beds, however only 2 were available. There were less rooms than described and we all had to share – host said there were not enough of us to warrant putting more beds out (4 adult males shared on small double and one rubbish sofa) TV didnt work, getting into property took too long

  Nothing at all. We were moved from this accommodation due to 'maintenance issues'. We ended up staying further out of Milan in sub standard accommodation – Via Casseretto 8.
  
  What could be improved: Everything. We were moved to a 'spacious, one room style apartment'. This turned out to only have two sofa beds and one bed on the floor, was in a dance/yoga studio with gym mats/chairs, the owners belongings piled all around us! the kitchen consisted of a two hob ring and microwave with the sink being in the bathroom.The shower area was dirty. There was no prep area for food, no plates/cutlery to eat with/from. So we couldn't cook. The place smelt as it was a dance/yoga studio.

  What could be improved: The access to this place is quite tricky. It appears to be big but not worthy the charges the owner bid for the place.

  What could be improved: The pictures mainly were not matching the reality. In the gallery there are pics of few apartments . The real one was a mansard . The place was not matching our expectations , as we were considering to take an apartment which we saw in pics ( the first few pics ) .

  We liked the layout of the apartment and it felt homely. We liked the fact the hosts had left milk, juice, drinks and some biscuits and pastries, this was thoughtful and really helpful for an overnight stay so we didn't have to buy anything. The beds were comfortable too
  
  What could be improved: There was some laundry left hanging outside on the terrace and the rubbish bins were outside, it was fine but we had to ask before we found them! It would be helpful to have two sets of keys as you have to lock the apartment door when you leave which means that you have to always leave the apartment at same time!

  Great apartment. Easy check-in. Well located near milan Central and has everything you need in close proximity around it. Good for extended stays.

  The apartment was big, nicely decorated and had a very nice interior. It was also equipped well.
  
  What could be improved: What I didn't like was the staff. The owner of the apartment, was quite unprofessional. There was no reception and we waited half an hour to enter the facility because nobody helped us open the door. Later we were met by the daughter of the owner who did not speak english and did not work there. The payment was very unprofessional, the owner knocked on the apartment door and did the payment at the door by cash. The did not accept cards. The description of the apartment was also not right. It said breakfast was included in the price and also paid transport from the airport. The breakfast was two boxes of croissants and cornflakes and cookies which was definitely not enough for 5 guests in the apartment. A lot of things in the apartment were broken or not working and needed to be fixed.
