First Impressions

The 2 bedroom apartment – Chinatown sits on a quiet stretch of Via Bramante in the Sempione district, and honestly, the name threw me off at first. You’re not actually in Chinatown here — you’re in one of Milan‘s more residential neighborhoods, about a 15-minute walk from Porta Garibaldi. The building itself is typically Milanese, with that solid, understated facade that doesn’t promise much from the outside but delivers once you’re inside.

The Space

This four-star apartment genuinely feels like someone’s well-appointed home rather than a hotel unit. The two bedrooms are properly sized — not those cramped European afterthoughts you sometimes get — and the main living area has enough space to actually spread out your stuff. What I really appreciated was the kitchen, which comes with everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Esselunga down the street and cook something proper.

Location Reality

Sempione is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often overlook, and that works in your favor here. You’ve got the massive Parco Sempione literally around the corner — perfect for morning runs or evening walks when you need a break from the city noise. The Arco della Pace is a five-minute stroll, and from there, you can see the Castello Sforzesco. Metro-wise, you’re closest to Moscova on the green line, which gets you to Duomo in about ten minutes.

What Actually Matters

The 8.5 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here. The apartment management is responsive (they actually answer messages), the wifi works properly, and there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving — though I’d honestly skip the car in Milan. The neighborhood has that perfect balance where you feel like you’re living somewhere real, but you’re not stuck in some remote suburb. There’s a solid restaurant called Osteria del Borgo just two blocks away that does excellent risotto, and the morning coffee scene around here is legit local stuff.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to wow you with flashy amenities or a concierge in the lobby — it’s an apartment, after all. But that’s exactly why it works. You get space, you get a real neighborhood feel, and you’re still connected to everything that matters in Milan. The room setup means couples or small families can actually have some breathing space, and if you’re staying more than a few days, having that kitchen starts to feel essential rather than just nice-to-have.

  Very convenient and central location, very detailed instructions with pictures and frequent reminders via messaging. Very quick response rate as well. Spacious, the 2 bathrooms were extremely convenient for a group.
  
  What could be improved: Understand it is an apartment in an old building, but it has been renovated and there is aircondition. Maybe some of the furniture is too much and don't need to be in the space.

  Apartament frumos, mobilat cu gust, foarte curat, dotat cu tot ce trebuie. Are două băi! Instrucțiuni de acces foarte clare, comunicare eficientă. Este situat la aproximativ jumătate de oră de mers pe jos față de gara centrală și cam tot atât față de Dom.

  Mieszkanie bardzo czyste, przestronne, zadbane.. Dużym udogodnieniem są dwie łazienki. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Świetna lokalizacja. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, który chętnie służył pomocą 🙂
