The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter, with good lighting and a comfortable bed that actually let me sleep well despite being in the city center. What I appreciated was the attention to details like proper blackout curtains and a bathroom that didn’t feel cramped, which you can’t always count on in historic Milan buildings.

The breakfast situation works well — nothing too fancy, but solid Italian coffee and fresh pastries that give you a proper start to the day. What’s really great is stepping outside and finding yourself surrounded by local cafes and trattorias that most tourists never discover. I mean, you’re staying in a real Milan neighborhood here, not some sanitized tourist zone, so you get to eat where locals actually go.
