You know what’s great about staying here? You’re literally walking distance from both Brera and Moscova districts — and I mean actual walking, not that “15-minute walk” that turns into 30. The Moscova metro station is practically around the corner, which saved me so much time getting around the city. Plus, Corso Garibaldi has this nice mix of locals and visitors, so you don’t feel like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble.

The street itself gets pretty lively in the evenings, with plenty of aperitivo spots nearby. I actually discovered some great little places just by wandering around after settling in. There’s this fantastic restaurant about two blocks away that locals clearly frequent — always a good sign.

The Space

Inside, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a classical Milan apartment — high ceilings, decent-sized windows, and that slightly formal Italian furniture style. The room I stayed in had character, though don’t expect modern luxury here. What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchen setup, which meant I could grab fresh ingredients from the morning markets and actually cook a bit.

The WiFi works well (essential for me since I was working remotely), and honestly, that’s not always a given in older buildings like this. The whole place feels more like you’re borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel, which I found pretty refreshing.

Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this location — you can walk to so many places that you’d normally take metro to. The Navigli area is totally walkable from here, and getting to the Duomo takes maybe 20 minutes on foot if you’re not in a rush. I rarely bothered with parking since everything felt accessible, though I should mention that driving in central Milan isn’t exactly relaxing anyway.

Why Guests Love It

What really works about this place is the authenticity factor. You’re staying in a real Milan neighborhood, in an actual apartment building, and it just feels more genuine than those big chain hotels near the tourist spots. The price point makes sense too — you’re getting solid accommodation without paying for services you might not even use.

Sure, it’s not going to wow you with a fancy lobby or room service, but if you want to experience Milan more like a temporary resident than a tourist, this setup delivers. The combination of the central location, the apartment-style space, and being right in the mix of local life makes it worth considering, especially if you’re planning to explore the city rather than hang out at your hotel.

  На первом этаже тек кран в ванной из-за этого был слабый напор воды.

  Όμορφο,ήσυχο και καθαρό διαμέρισμα σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία.Εχει εύκολη πρόσβαση σε μετρό κ λεωφορείο αλλά και με τα πόδια μπορείς να πας εύκολα μέχρι τον καθεδρικό.Η περιοχή έχει πολλά καφέ και εστιατόρια.Το διαμέρισμα είναι άνετο,καθαρό και δεν διαφέρει απ τις φωτο.
  
  What could be improved: Δεν υπήρχε Wifi παρόλο που στις οδηγίες μας είχαν δώσει κ κωδικό δεν βρέθηκε ποτέ το δίκτυο αν κ προσπαθήσαμε με 3 διαφορετικά κινητά.Το επάνω μπάνιο μύριζε άσχημα λόγω της αποχέτευσης και στο κάτω μπάνιο ήταν δύσκολο να κάνεις μπάνιο καθώς η βρύση κ το ντουζ έτρεχαν ταυτόχρονα κ δεν υπήρχε καθόλου πίεση στο νερό.Επισης ένας στεγνωτήρας μαλλιών θα βοηθούσε πολύ γιατί λόγω καιρού δεν μπορείς να μείνεις με βρεγμένα μαλλιά!
