But honestly, you might not need it much — I found myself walking to most places because you’re already in the thick of things. The Quadrilatero della Moda is a pleasant 10-minute stroll if shopping’s your thing, and there are countless cafés and trattorias scattered throughout the neighborhood that locals actually frequent.

Neighborhood Charm

Via dei Piatti sits in one of those sweet spots where you get the energy of central Milan without the constant tourist chaos. There’s a great little restaurant just two doors down that serves proper Milanese cuisine (the osso buco is incredible), and you’ll discover that this area comes alive in the evenings when office workers and locals meet for aperitivo. The morning routine here feels particularly Italian — watching people grab their espresso and cornetto before heading off to work while you’re planning your day of sightseeing.

  Great location, but at the same time, it's very quiet.
  The apartment is really tiny but has everything one needs and more. It is spotless.
  Signora Mariella is a sweetheart.
  Sefora is always available to answer questions and give advice on WhatsApp, and she is very prompt about it.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is so small that there is no room to open even a trolley. Had to put it on the bed to do that.
  The real problem for me was a constant smell of cigarette smoke coming into the room from the hall.

  The location was ideal. The caretaker was very hospitable.
  
  What could be improved: The room was extremely small; luckily I was only one person. There wasn’t enough room for a suitcase and there was only about 8” between the bed and the wall on one side only. The lighting, especially in the bathroom was dim . The sound when turning the water on in the bathroom or flushing was explosive.
  I arrived 2 1/2 hours early and the owner charged me 10 euros to drop off my bags, not even a courtesy.

  Pretty good location.you can get to all destinations and public transportations.
  This apartment is located in a busy area but thanks to the courtyard it was very calm.
  
  What could be improved: Check in time was 3 o'clock.so i stopped by at three and i checked in. but house cleaning wasn't finished. She started to clean after three. I didn't want to waste my time and she didn't understand any English.
