Via Vincenzo Monti is actually a fantastic street to base yourself on — it’s residential enough that you’re not dealing with constant tourist chaos, but you’re still within easy walking distance of everything that matters. I mean, you can walk to the Duomo in about fifteen minutes, and the Porta Garibaldi area with all its trendy spots is practically on your doorstep. The metro connections are solid too, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to cover ground in Milan.

The Studio Space

The room itself is cleverly designed — they’ve managed to fit everything you need without it feeling cramped. There’s a small kitchenette that’s actually functional (not just decorative like some places), and the bed area feels separate from the living space even though it’s all one room. The bathroom is compact but well-appointed, and you know what really impressed me? The storage solutions — there are actually places to put your stuff, which isn’t always a given in Milan studios.

Daily Life & Practical Matters

Having that kitchenette turned out to be more useful than I expected — Milan can be expensive when you’re eating out for every meal, so being able to grab groceries from the local markets and prepare simple meals was genuinely helpful. There’s a small Carrefour nearby, and honestly, the neighborhood has this authentic Milanese feel where you’ll see more locals than tourists doing their daily shopping. The Wi-Fi works well, which matters if you’re trying to plan your days or stay connected.

Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with fancy amenities, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually need — a clean, bright space in an excellent location at a reasonable price.   I loved everything about this place! The location was perfect, in a good safe area (Monti) but close enough to walk to major tourist sites like the Duomo Piazza and Castle Sforza. The Milan Cadorna train station is around the corner and so are tram and taxi stands.
  The mini studio is perfectly comfortable and contained with all we needed for our 2 night mini break in Milan.
  The hosts Darrio and Michele are very organized and transparent, clearly communicating all we needed to know for a smooth check in and comfortable stay. As advertised, it is a small studio room but it is well designed and equipped with modern facilities. My husband and I loved our stay here and would definitely return.
  
  What could be improved: I am not great with lifts so always used the stairs. My husband used the lift many times and said it was smooth and worked perfectly. It is a very small lift, in keeping with the age and style of the building.
