I mean, if shopping’s your thing, you’ll be stumbling over Prada and Versace stores before you’ve even had your morning espresso. The red metro line (M1) at San Babila station is right there, which honestly makes getting anywhere in Milan ridiculously easy. Plus, you can walk to the Duomo in about ten minutes if you’re feeling energetic.

The Studio Space

The room itself is compact but cleverly designed — it’s got that efficient European style where every square meter counts. There’s a small kitchenette area (nothing fancy, but perfect for making coffee or heating up pastries from the nearby bakeries), and the layout actually works better than you’d expect. The decor is clean and modern, though don’t expect anything too flashy — this is practical accommodation done right. The windows face the street, so you’ll get that authentic Milan soundtrack of gentle traffic and chattering locals.

Neighborhood Vibes

What I really loved about staying here was how quickly you slip into the local rhythm. There’s this fantastic little restaurant called Osteria del Borgo just around the corner that serves proper Milanese risotto — the kind locals actually eat, not the tourist version. The area comes alive in the evenings when people spill out of the aperitivo bars, and honestly, it’s one of those neighborhoods where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Milan rather than just passing through it.

The value here is really in the location and the independence you get with the studio setup.   The location was good & the studio felt safe at night.
  
  What could be improved: The bed was uncomfortable. What looked like metal to protect anyone from falling was just string. There are two nails sticking out on cabinet top which could easily catch a hand.

  What could be improved: The apparently automated check-in system left me unable to access the apartment for the first evening, adding a 250 Euro bill for last-minute hotel accommodation. A solo traveller, I had obviously accidentally ticked that I would be two people – what I can only assume was an AI BOT would not release the security code until I checked in the non-existent second person. Instead, it kept resending the registration link before finally sending a note that no one was about. It even sent a message for emergency contact, which had no access info attached (it literally said 'no number'!). This was the first time in over 100 stays that I could not access the property – the situation was unacceptable.

  What could be improved: 1. The lighting in the room looks a bit cheap, different vibe from the feel in the pictures.
  2. I left something behind in the room, and they claimed they couldn’t find it. However, I am certain I left it there and even pointed out the exact location. After that, they stopped responding, which is really disappointing.

  Great location, cosy, comfortable. Stylish building. Very close to all attractions + restaurants + grocery store. All the necessary details and codes were provided online. Comfortable bed.
  
  What could be improved: Minor flaws, but still very much liked all the flat. Shower cubicle is a bit small. More lights would be better.

  Good location central Milano Duomo for Christmas market, shopping and sightseeing. Modern comfy apartment in safe location.

  WE HAD A LOVELY STAY! The property has AC and complete with amenities and even laundry detergent so we were able to wash our clothes. Very happy to stay here and i would come back i were to visit Milan again.

  Apartment is 5minutes by walk to Vitorio Emanuelle in very nice old building with beautifull atrium but its parter, better for hair salon!!! Booking com did not notice that!

  Stuff was nice but by mail and phone conversation only.
  Nobody wait for guests . You depand on your mobile and inrernet for chrck in and enter in building in any time. In our case it was in the midle of night.
  There is everything new and clean but to small.
  No living room in parter
  Only kitchen with tv in the same road and two seating plases, one hy table with bar chears.
  Not enough windows for open and very small light in all apartment!
  One little window in sleeping place on galery and very near the street and cars . Strong noise and very troubled sleaping if you have open window.
  Bed is not easy to get because of small place of steps but confortable and clean .
  Definitly place is for lower price and very very young couple or for other activitis, not for apartment renting.
  
  What could be improved: Choosing apartment by Booking.com who took extra money from my credit card on name of "cleaning apartment" after our check out, even if we payed everything before and not gave precise informations before.
  Relstay confirmed they have nothing with that transaction.
  Just for others, to have information about Booking com rules.

  Location was fantastic. Easy walking distance to all the sights. Lots of eating places within walking distance. Supermarket around corner.
  It is a studio/ loft apartment and quite small but Room suited our needs for the night and very secure.
  
  What could be improved: Door in bathroom needs fixing as not able to close and hard to open as the bottom was swollen.
