What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to soundproof the place; despite being centrally located, I slept through the night without hearing much street noise at all.

Here’s where things get interesting — you’re actually positioned perfectly for hitting Milano’s major spots without dealing with the chaos of staying right next to them. The Duomo is easily reachable, but you’re not drowning in tour groups every time you step outside. If you’re heading to Rho Fiera for business or catching a match at San Siro, the connections are surprisingly straightforward once you figure out the metro lines.

The area around the apartment has this genuine Milano vibe that I wasn’t expecting. There’s a solid restaurant about two blocks down that serves incredible risotto (the owner’s been there for like twenty years), and honestly, having that parking situation sorted out is huge if you’re driving in the city.   Great size, could easily stay as a small family. Good location, charming building and lovely terrace outside apartment. Bathroom and kitchen were very clean and good size and quality, great shower.
  Communication with host was generally good.
  
  What could be improved: There were a few touches that need fixing.. Leaky tap, leaky boiler, door handle falling off.. Some areas very dusty.. Little things but if given attention would make a difference to the overall quality of the place.
  Getting keys from lockbox on same street but they are attached to a grill that's practically on the ground and stunk of urine around,… not the nicest key pick up.. :/
