Radisson Blu Hotel Milan Overview
First Impressions
The Radisson Blu Hotel Milan sits in the Villapizzone district, and honestly, it’s one of those places where you realize Milan has more layers than just the Duomo and fashion week chaos. This four-star property feels refreshingly modern without trying too hard — you know what I mean? The lobby has this clean Scandinavian vibe that immediately tells you you’re dealing with a brand that actually gets design.
Location & Smart Positioning
Here’s the thing about staying in this part of Milan — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist madness to actually breathe. The Porta Garibaldi business district is maybe ten minutes away, and getting to the historic center takes about twenty minutes on the metro. What I really appreciated was having actual parking available (trust me, if you’re driving in Milan, this matters more than you think).
The Room Experience
My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that made the space feel bigger than it probably was, and the bed — well, let’s just say I’ve stayed at places charging twice as much with half the comfort. The bathroom was spacious with a proper shower that had decent water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in European hotels. There’s something satisfying about clean lines and functional design that just works.
Dining & Amenities
The breakfast spread at their restaurant was solid — fresh pastries, decent coffee (this is Italy, after all), and enough variety that even picky eaters won’t complain. I actually ended up using their fitness center more than I expected, and the spa area was perfect for unwinding after long days of meetings. Nothing overly fancy, but everything you’d want from a well-run business hotel.
Why Guests Love It
Look, the Radisson Blu Hotel Milan isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in the city, and that’s exactly why it works so well. The service feels genuinely helpful rather than stuffy, the location gives you easy access without the premium price tag of staying in Brera, and you’ll actually sleep well here. With ratings consistently hitting 8.8 out of 10, other guests clearly appreciate what I found — a place that delivers on the basics exceptionally well while keeping things refreshingly straightforward.

What could be improved: NothingGreat hotel, with great service and location! – Bojan from Slovenia – 23 November 2025 (9/10)
Excellent breakfast, as well as dinner. Just a minute or two away from the tram stop that takes you directly to the city center (Duomo). It takes about 1/2 hour to get there.
Parking (of course, for a fee, which is standard practice in Milan) is perfectly arranged with a large parking garage under the hotel, with a direct elevator.
Swimming in the pool was great. The only thing missing is a jacuzzi to relax in after a busy day.
