Here’s the thing about staying near Stazione Centrale — everyone warns you it’s “sketchy,” but honestly, it’s just busy and a bit gritty in that authentic urban way. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Milan’s main train station, which means getting to Lake Como or catching that early flight becomes ridiculously easy. The Porta Garibaldi area with all its modern towers is close enough that you can walk there, and the yellow metro line puts you in Duomo in about ten minutes.

The Room Experience

My room was compact but thoughtfully laid out — clearly someone put actual thought into maximizing the space without making it feel cramped. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s decent soundproofing considering you’re in the heart of a major city. What I really appreciated was having a proper workspace area, which you don’t always get at this price point in Milan.

Practical Details

The Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the building, and the air conditioning keeps up even during those sweltering summer days when Milan gets unexpectedly humid. There’s a small kitchen setup that’s perfect if you want to grab groceries from the Esselunga down the street — though honestly, with Milan’s food scene, you might not use it much. The staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations, not just the touristy stuff either.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the kind of place you’ll Instagram every corner of, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually need: a clean, comfortable base in a real neighborhood with excellent transport connections. The value proposition makes sense, especially when boutique hotels in Brera are charging three times as much. You’re staying somewhere that feels connected to actual Milan life rather than tourist Milan, and sometimes that’s exactly what makes a trip memorable.

  Хороший номер с отличным местоположением для путешествующих. Вокзал в 5 минутах ходьбы. Метро тоже. Это очень удобно. Рядом магазины и кафе.
  
  What could be improved: Не работал телевизор, не включался с пульта. Может быть были плохие батарейки,,, Утром в день отъезда лифт не работал поэтому пришлось тащить багаж на себе. Конечно в этом хозяин не виноват но было очень неудобно тащить все тяжелые чемоданы, не представляю как это сделали бы женщины. Жена сказала что заменила бы бы подушки. Это все мои пожелания для твердого отлично. Для тех кто впервые в Милане- осторожнее вечером в этом районе , ходит много воришек которые норовят стащить ваши вещи. Будьте аккуратнее

  Cumple con lo básico. Es buena ubicacion siempre que tomes tren. Metro a unos pasos.
  
  What could be improved: No hay forma de contactar al dueño o staff. La llegada autónoma a mi no me sirvió. Nunca abrió la puerta. Tuve la suerte de que llegaron unas personas y cuando abrieron la puerta, les mostré mi reserva. Fueron empaticos y me dejaron pasar. De no haber sido por esto me quedo afuera sin respuesta del alojamiento.
  Falta agua en cortesía para cuando llegas. Tiene detalles que deben reparar. Los cajones del baño, el portarrollo, el boton de la regadera.

  Posizione ottima, a due passi dalla stazione centrale e dalla metropolitana ma silenziosa.
  Appartamento ben equipaggiato, ho trovato tutto quello che poteva servire. La macchina per le capsule Nespresso top!
  Il ventilatore silenziosissimo, senza usare il condizionatore siamo state bene comunque.
  
  What could be improved: Il fatto che purtroppo, nonostante sia appartamento non fumatori, qualche furbetto si deve essere chiuso in bagno a fumare = un antipatico odore di fumo stantio a cui ho ovviato lasciando accesa la ventola di aspirazione.
  La tavoletta del wc non ben fissata – Il condizionatore rumoroso ma avendovi soggiornato in giornate fresche non ha inciso sul benessere generale

  Location is perfect.
  
  Everything was well, but the shower is very uncomfortable, and the water comes out unevenly. It lacks a hose to make showering comfortable.

  The apartment was clean, bed was comfy and was really close by the station. Near some good restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: The check in process was a complete mess. It said we should call a number to unlock the front door or click a link. We were stood outside the door for almost 1 hour and neither option worked (we tried about 50 times whilst stood out there at 9pm at night, after a long day of travelling) we called and messaged the host but didn’t get an immediate response. Eventually someone entered the building so we could get in, the host also says the apartment is on your right but it was on the left which caused a lot of confusion and further delays!

  What could be improved: Cuando llegamos al lugar y estábamos leyendo las instrucciones llegaron unos vecinos italianos y nos increparon feo. Nos preguntaron que quienes éramos y que dónde estaba el dueño del apto. Nos dijo que el self check-in estábamos leyendo prohibido en Italia y que podrían llamar a la policía. Luego ya se calmaron e incluso nos acompañaron hasta que abriésemos el apartamento. Fue un momento desagradable que terminó bien. Deben revisar si es cierto esto del self check in.
  Tenía cafetera Nespresso pero no había ni un PPD de cortesía para prepararse un café

  The location of the apartment was very good, a few minutes walk to the central train station, with many restaurants in the nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The biggest problem was the shower cabin: it was small cabin semicircle shape (70 cm) only with ceiling shower (no hand shower at all!). Actually impossible to take a proper shower, especially if you don’t want to wash your hair every day.
  Water always leaked out from the shower cabin, so mop was the most useful thing. Actually this situation spoiled much our stay in this apartment. If there would be a hand shower in the cabin, it would help much to eliminate this problem!
