Casa da Suite Futura Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Casa da Suite Futura, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but it quickly became clear this three-star spot has its own character. Located in Milan’s Bicocca-Zara district, it feels refreshingly removed from the tourist chaos while still being properly connected to the city center. The lobby has this modern-meets-minimalist vibe that’s actually quite welcoming, though you can tell this isn’t trying to be a grand hotel.

The Neighborhood Reality

Here’s what I appreciate about this part of Milan — you’re staying where locals actually live and work, not in some sanitized tourist bubble. The Bicocca area has undergone serious transformation over the past decade, and you’ll find yourself near the university district with plenty of authentic spots to grab coffee or aperitivo. The metro connection (Zara station) gets you to Duomo in about 20 minutes, which honestly beats dealing with traffic in a taxi from more central hotels.

Room Experience

My room was larger than expected — these “suite” names aren’t just marketing fluff. The space feels thoughtfully designed with clean lines and decent storage, plus a small seating area that’s actually usable. What struck me was how quiet it stays despite being in an urban area; the windows do their job well. The bathroom is compact but functional, and I mean that in the best way — everything works properly, which you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case.

Practical Perks

The staff here seems genuinely helpful rather than just going through motions, which makes a difference when you need local recommendations or help with directions. There’s parking available if you’re driving, though honestly in Milan I’d skip the car stress entirely. The breakfast setup is straightforward Italian style — good coffee, fresh pastries, nothing fancy but it gets the job done before you head out exploring.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Casa da Suite Futura isn’t going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but it delivers on what actually matters for a solid Milan stay. You get clean, comfortable space in a real neighborhood, reliable service, and good value for money in a city where hotel prices can get ridiculous quickly. If you’re the type who’d rather spend your euros on amazing food and shopping instead of hotel amenities you’ll barely use, this place makes a lot of sense.

Reviews of Casa da Suite Futura

  • Good – Klaudia from Hungary – 18 March 2025 (7/10)

It was quite and alright for the price. They left some coffe capsules for us which was nice of them.

What could be improved: Getting the keys was complecated. They aked for online check-in which we did and then they said I will get more information after I complete my payment and online check-in, three different person called me from the same number the day that my filight landed, they sent me an adress where to pick up the keys, but every person said a different thing where to go and what to do.So it was a bit confusing. But after that everything was fine.

  • Good – Zaya from Mongolia – 23 January 2025 (7/10)

    Location is very good

What could be improved: cleaning is a bit lacking

  • The place was nice and quiet anytime you can walk around. It was nice area and nice house. – Hamdiya from Netherlands – 22 August 2024 (9/10)

It was very good, not bad.

What could be improved: What I did not like was the change our room instead of this room they gave us another room that was not good for us and we were not happy about it

  • More or less satisfied – Ádám from Hungary – 20 June 2024 (8/10)

Good value for money, easy check in.

What could be improved: Some broken furniture but nothing serious. A key would have been useful as someone locked the main entrance during the night and we had to call and wake someone up from the building to let us in. They didn’t answered to my messages and it’s a torture to contact them via phone.

  • Clean and well secured 👍 – Mohammed from United Arab Emirates – 17 April 2024 (6/10)

    Clean easy to access

What could be improved: The location, after we stay we found our rented car windshield broken 🤷

  • Very good – Josef from Czech Republic – 13 March 2024 (8/10)

    Nice, clean and tidy.

What could be improved: Too complicated and time consuming online check-in. Big problems to find the key. We spent about an hour on the phone with the call center before they were able to find out where the locker with the keys was located (on another building) to navigate us.

  • It was really good wish I had more days. – Kelvin from United Kingdom – 5 December 2023 (8/10)

I loved the bedrooms they were proper nice

What could be improved: Some of the plugs were small so my adapter was useless sometimes and the fact that it isn’t an early check in and the check out is early I didn’t like

  • Comfortable, metro 5 min. from suite and easy to travel all around Milan with metro – Selimir from Bosnia and Herzegovina – 10 November 2023 (9/10)

Comortable apatment, stores and restaurants, metor are close by. With metro lines is easy and fast to transport from suite to Duomo, Fiera Milano and other intresting points

What could be improved: make deal for garage in sturday and explain that I will pay in monday but in traveling don't have net on mobile and can't confirm reservation becouse need to receive transaction on card what writhe them but they reserve garage to other guest.
Luckily all Italians park on sidewalk and we act like Italians 🙂

  • Overall was a nice relaxing short stay! – Marios from Cyprus – 22 October 2023 (8/10)

It was quite away from the noisy city center. A bit far but we had rented a car, so it was ok.
Nicely decorated, good for three persons. Has all main amenities.

What could be improved: Once we enter the apartment, the door handle drop on my hand. The mechanism was broken, so made it difficult entering and leaving the apartment. The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. The wi-fi connection had an issue, all we were unable to connect, even after we mentioned the problem, it was never fixed.

  • It was excellent. – Badger from United States – 30 September 2023 (9/10)

The property was a great setting and price for the money. It was perfect for a group of friends.

What could be improved: There isn’t much to complain about other than no soaps which I knew going into it.
