The Porta Genova train station is just a few minutes’ walk, so getting to the Duomo or catching trains to other cities is surprisingly easy. What I really love is how the neighborhood transforms from quiet residential streets during the day to this buzzing nightlife scene after dark.

The Room Experience

Each apartment here is unique, which you don’t always expect from hotels — even four-star ones. Mine had this gorgeous exposed brick wall and floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with natural light. The kitchen wasn’t just for show either; it’s fully equipped, which is perfect when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something simple. The bed was seriously comfortable, and I mean that — sometimes you wonder if hotel beds are designed more for looks than sleep, but this one delivered on both fronts.

Dining and Amenities

There isn’t a traditional hotel restaurant, but that actually works in this neighborhood where incredible dining options are everywhere. The staff gave me spot-on recommendations for everything from quick morning coffee to proper Milanese risotto. Parking can be tricky in this area (it’s Milan, after all), but they’ve got arrangements with nearby garages, and honestly, you might not even need a car once you’re here — the public transport connections are that good.

What really sets Casa SEDA apart is how it manages to feel both sophisticated and completely livable. You get the privacy and space of your own place, but with hotel-level service when you need it. • Buena ubicación, cómoda y agradable – Ismael from Spain – 2 December 2025 (9/10)

  Fuimos dos personas y nos encontramos con todas las comodidades, desde los utensilios de cocina, ropa de cama y edredón, secador para el pelo, lavadora y sus productos, armario de gran tamaño, etc. La cama bastante cómoda.
  
  En cuanto a la ubicación, es un barrio bueno, transitado, con muchos bares, cafeterías, tiendas, etc.
  A un minuto de la puerta hay una parada de tranvía, y, está a cinco minutos andando de la calle principal de navigli, donde hay muchos bares, tiendas, y buenas vistas. También se puede ir al centro andando en unos minutos más. El tranvía se siente al pasar, pero no es molesto.
  
  En cuanto al propietario, muy atento, nos recibió en la puerta del apartamento, nos lo enseñó, y nos explicó cosas de la ciudad, y recomendaciones de sitios.
