The building itself looks pretty typical from the outside, but once you step inside, you realize this three-star place has some serious potential. It’s one of those spots where the location does most of the heavy lifting, and frankly, that’s not necessarily a bad thing when you’re this close to everything that matters.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally walking distance from both Brera and Isola districts, which means you get the best of both worlds. Brera’s got that artsy, upscale vibe with galleries and fancy aperitivo spots, while Isola is grittier and more authentic (well, as authentic as Milan gets these days). Porta Garibaldi station is right there, so you can hop on the metro or catch trains to other cities without any hassle.

The Room Reality

Look, the room I stayed in was modern enough — clean lines, decent Wi-Fi, and everything worked as it should. It’s not going to win any design awards, but honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city, you just need somewhere comfortable to crash. The AC worked well during the summer heat, and the shower had good pressure, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in Milan.

Daily Life Here

What actually impressed me was how easy everything felt. There’s no fancy restaurant on-site, but you know what? You’re surrounded by some of the best dining in Milan, so why would you want to eat hotel food anyway. The Corso Como area comes alive at night — it’s where locals go for drinks, not just tourists. During the day, you can walk to the fashion district or head over to check out the vertical forest towers that everyone talks about.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, no-frills base in one of Milan’s most happening neighborhoods. You’re paying for the location and the convenience, and honestly, that’s exactly what you should be doing in a city like this. The staff speaks English well enough, and they seem to actually know the area — always a good sign. I mean, you could spend twice as much for a fancier place further out, but then you’d waste time and money getting to where the action is.

  Property is located in a very good area and it’s quite central. However, there are hidden costs for example for late checkin
  Booking was made via booking.com and about the extra costs they had not mentioned anything
  However, the owner of the property stated that they had it mentioned on their website which makes no sense to me as the booking was made via booking.com and not per website

  Great location. Bars and restaurants right outside but apartment was quiet. Close to Garibaldi train station and metro. Had everything you need for a base to explore.
  
  What could be improved: Having to collect the Kay from nowhere near the apartment. Not that easy to get to as you need to get a tram. No metro stop near. About a 30 minute walk from Milano Centrale. The apartment is 10-15 mins away in a taxi. Apartment is small but ok. Digital key – you need WiFi/ internet access to get in. Worked well though. You can WhatsApp the link to each other so more than one person can use the key.

  The apartment was perfect, very practical! Great location. Easy access to Duomo and different bars and restaurants. I highly recommend it. The host was very accommodating.
