Hotel Nasco Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Hotel Nasco feels like discovering one of those places that locals have been quietly recommending for years. It’s tucked along Corso Sempione, which honestly might not ring a bell if you’re new to Milan, but trust me — this four-star spot sits in one of the city’s most interesting neighborhoods. The lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, with marble floors and contemporary Italian furnishings that feel both polished and welcoming.

The Fiera Milano Area

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in the Fiera Milano district, which means you’re close to all the trade fair action if that’s your thing, but also just a stone’s throw from the ultra-modern CityLife towers. The Porta Garibaldi train station is maybe a 10-minute walk, and from there you can zip into the city center or catch connections to basically anywhere. There’s something refreshing about staying in this part of town instead of the tourist-heavy Duomo area.

The Room Experience

The rooms here strike that perfect balance between functional and comfortable — not flashy, but everything works exactly as it should. Each room comes with air conditioning that actually keeps things cool (you’d be surprised how many Milan hotels mess this up), and the beds are genuinely comfortable with quality linens. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, with decent water pressure and those little Italian toiletry touches that make you feel like you’re really in Italy.

Dining and Amenities

The hotel’s restaurant serves solid Italian fare — nothing groundbreaking, but reliable and reasonably priced for Milan standards. What I actually appreciate more is the breakfast setup, which goes beyond the typical continental spread with some local specialties and fresh pastries. There’s also parking available, which in Milan is basically like finding gold, especially in this increasingly busy district.

Why Guests Love It

You know what sets Hotel Nasco apart? It’s that rare combination of being professional without being stuffy, and modern without losing that Italian warmth. The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward the best aperitivo spots along Corso Sempione or tell you which metro line gets you to La Scala fastest. With an 8.7 rating, guests consistently mention the cleanliness, the helpful service, and honestly, the value for money in a city where hotel prices can get pretty crazy. It’s the kind of place where business travelers feel comfortable, but couples exploring Milan won’t feel like they’re staying in some corporate box either.

Reviews of Hotel Nasco

  • Absolutely recommend – Lisa from Australia – 29 November 2025 (10/10)

10/10. Loved it. Rooms are very spacious, location brilliant, breakfast delicious. Reception staff are simply the best, helpful and welcoming. Late checkout was very appreciative.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • Pleasant clean hotel with friendly staff! – Lucy from United Kingdom – 25 November 2025 (8/10)

The hotel itself is lovely. We stayed here for the Milano21 half marathon and it was the perfect location! Some nice restaurants nearby which the staff recommended. Staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean! Breakfast was fab too!

What could be improved: The thermostat in the room didn’t work when you needed it to, seemed like the heating only come late at night so we found ourselves quite cold in the evenings before bed. Sadly no plug for the bath that fit and no mirrors to get ready in near a plug for ladies!

  • Great experience. – Paul from Canada – 18 November 2025 (10/10)

    Cleanliness, location and staff

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Exceptional – Alexander from Georgia – 17 November 2025 (10/10)

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful – they responded quickly to all questions and even assisted with organizing things before our arrival.
The breakfast was great, with plenty of options to choose from. There was a coffee machine available in the lobby throughout the day.
The location is perfect, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel that quickly takes you to the city center.
The room, bathroom and all other facilities were spotless. We really enjoyed our stay!

What could be improved: The breakfast area was a bit crowded after 9:30, which isn’t really the hotel’s fault, just something to keep in mind. Before 9am there were always plenty of free tables to enjoy your breakfast.

  • A great value option for a City stay in Milan – Paul from United Kingdom – 7 November 2025 (9/10)

A very popular hotel even with Italians and great value when you consider a good breakfast was included. The hotel was clean and fairly modern with friendly staff. The hotel was a little further out than expected but Milan is quite a big city with a very good transport sytem. There is a reliable tram which goes directly to the City centre. Housecleaning did a good job so if your are looking for a great value option this would be a good choice. The wifi was very reliable which is great as we had limited mobile data for our 6 night stay.

What could be improved: I had expected more food options locally but that is not the fault of the hotel.

  • Exceptional – Daoud from Palestinian Territory – 31 October 2025 (10/10)

    They provide halal food

  • Very good – Jack from United Kingdom – 13 October 2025 (8/10)

early check-in. Staff excellent. Comfortable bed and pillows. Balcony in the afternoon sunshine. Really quiet at night. Next to the tram stop. Restaurants nearby.

  • Exceptional – Marcy from New Zealand – 7 October 2025 (10/10)

The staff were just wonderful and made us feel really welcomed. The buffet breakfast was delish, full of hot and cold dishes. The tram to the sites was located just across the road from the hotel. Great value for money

What could be improved: Nothing, it was just fabulous

  • Spotless room & bathroom, friendly staff, great breakfast! What's not to like? – Ken from United Kingdom – 5 October 2025 (10/10)

Really excellent hotel – very close to the tram 1/19 stop, and hence very convenient for getting into town (about 20 mins during rush hour). The room was spotless and the bathroom a reasonable size, with room to spread out. Free water is provided every day in the fridge (though see below). I paid a few euro extra for a "high" room, which meant tram noise was kept to a minimum, though the double glazing is also pretty good. The included cooked breakfast was enormous, and my only regret was not being able to stay a bit longer to enjoy it! WiFi is also excellent!

What could be improved: The bed was slightly too firm, but nothing to worry about (I didn't lose any sleep). Bottles would be great instead of cans for the free water, so I could transport it around with me. I thought it was a little bit expensive, but it was the week after Fashion Week, and I booked quite late. It's not in the centre of town, but it's very easy to get to.

  • Exceptional – Pornpak from Thailand – 4 October 2025 (10/10)

We enjoyed the wide selection for breakfast, the spaciousness of the room, the comfortable bed, and its easy access to the tram.
