Central Station Milano Room – 4 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Central Station Milano Room – 4, you’ll immediately notice how the building fits perfectly into this bustling neighborhood around Milano Centrale. I mean, the location is honestly incredible — you’re literally steps from one of Europe’s busiest train stations, which sounds chaotic but actually works brilliantly. The entrance has that classic Milanese apartment building feel, and while it’s not flashy, there’s something reassuring about staying somewhere that feels authentically local rather than touristy.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about staying in Milan‘s Stazione Centrale area — you’re connected to everything. The metro is right there, trams run constantly, and you can walk to Corso Buenos Aires (one of Europe’s longest shopping streets) in about ten minutes. What surprised me was how this four-star property manages to feel peaceful despite being in such a central spot. The couples who stay here clearly get it — they’ve rated the location 8.7, and honestly, I understand why. You know what’s great? You can grab fresh pastries from the bakery downstairs, hop on a train to Lake Como for the day, or walk to the Quadrilatero della Moda if you’re feeling fancy.
The Room Experience
The room itself strikes that perfect balance between comfort and practicality that you want when you’re actually living in a city for a few days. It’s not huge — this is Milan, after all — but everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The bed is genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom has good water pressure, which matters more than you’d think after a long day of walking around the city. The windows do a decent job of keeping street noise manageable, though you’ll still hear the occasional tram — but that’s part of the Milan experience, isn’t it?
Practical Considerations
What makes this place work so well is how it handles the practical stuff without making a big deal about it. The Wi-Fi actually works properly, there’s decent storage space for your luggage, and the air conditioning keeps things comfortable during those surprisingly warm Milan summers. The building has that old-school European elevator situation — you know, the kind that fits maybe two people and their bags — but it adds to the authentic feel. Parking isn’t really an option here, but honestly, you don’t need a car in this part of the city anyway.
Why Guests Love It
The location score of 9.0 tells the whole story, really. You’re staying somewhere that locals would actually choose — close to everything that matters but not in the middle of tourist chaos. The value proposition works because you’re getting solid accommodation in one of Milan’s most connected neighborhoods without paying premium hotel prices. I’ve stayed in fancier places in Milan, but I keep coming back to spots like this because they let you live like a Milanese person rather than just visit as a tourist. Plus, there’s something satisfying about rolling out of bed and being at Centrale in two minutes when you need to catch that early train to Venice.

What could be improved: No kettle for hot water.
Took ages to pay for the City Tax… had to try many different options. At the end, kept cash on the table.Be my 1st choice next time – Carl from Ireland – 28 August 2025 (9/10)
Cheap, cheerful, clean, efficient. Location can't be beat as a base at Central Station. Safe, secure building. Plenty of towels & toiletries. Power shower; constant hot water. Remote control Aircon. TV. Hairdryer. ✔️ Owner calls you 5 minutes after booking to answer any questions you may have; was very polite. It's an *online self-check-in* if you're not tech-savvy it's not for you!
What could be improved: Sink seems clogged, (Apt.4), slow to drain. But does!Exceptional – Federico from Italy – 7 June 2024 (10/10)

Very close to Milan Centrale Station. Shower worked well. Towels clean. TV worked.
What could be improved: Very, very compact: A basement room with shower, toilet and bidet offset.
Unsure how to open window shutters in the event of a fire. No kettle or mugs. No Wi-Fi. No cooking facilities/utensils at all.Pleasant – Lytvynenko – 15 September 2023 (6/10)
The location is great
What could be improved: The bed shits or pillow or blanket was smelly. Very smelly, but we could not understand what exactly giving this smell.
The shower was dirtynot bad for its money – Maksym from Ukraine – 2 June 2023 (7/10)
Convenient location, 20 min walking to all famous sightseeings
What could be improved: noisy outside at night, was hard to sleepIt was ok, but could be a lot better with a few touches – Konstantinos from Greece – 26 March 2023 (6/10)
It was at a good location and had almost everything needed.
What could be improved: The administrator was so hard to communicate. 1 day before our arrival, I had to ask them a thousand times to tell us how to get access to the property. Also, we asked for extra toilet paper and never replied. The towels and the bedsheets were never changed and the bed covering was very dirty at the below surface. Finally, there is not a fridge inside.
