Contempora Apartments – Cavallotti 13 – B21 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Contempora Apartments – Cavallotti 13 – B21 on Via Felice Cavallotti, you’d honestly never guess what awaits inside from the classic Milanese facade. The building blends right into the elegant streetscape, but step through those doors and you’re hit with this sleek, modern design that feels distinctly contemporary. It’s one of those places where the surprise factor actually works in its favor — no flashy signage needed when the interior does all the talking.
Location Perfection
Here’s what I love about this spot in Milan City Centre — you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters, but tucked away on a quieter street that locals actually use. Via Felice Cavallotti isn’t one of those tourist-clogged main drags, which means you get authentic neighborhood vibes while still being ridiculously close to the Duomo and La Scala. The morning walks to grab espresso feel genuine, not like you’re navigating through selfie sticks and tour groups every step of the way.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this four-star place apart is how each apartment actually feels like a proper Milan pied-à-terre rather than a hotel room with pretensions. The kitchenette isn’t just for show — it’s properly equipped, which honestly saved me a fortune during my stay since eating out every meal in Milan can get expensive fast. The design strikes this perfect balance between minimalist chic and actually livable, with enough personality to feel special but not so much that you’re afraid to touch anything.
Practical Comforts
You know what impressed me most? The attention to details that business travelers and longer-stay guests actually care about. Reliable WiFi that doesn’t drop out during video calls, proper lighting for working, and storage that makes sense when you’re living out of a suitcase for more than a weekend. The building itself runs quietly — none of those mysterious middle-of-the-night elevator dings or hallway conversations that seem to happen at every other place I’ve stayed in the city center.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.7 rating makes complete sense once you’ve experienced how smoothly everything operates here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Milan, but it absolutely nails what modern travelers want — independence, style, and a location that puts the real city at your doorstep. Whether you’re here for fashion week, business meetings, or just want to live like a Milanese local for a few days, this place delivers without the fuss or inflated prices of traditional luxury hotels in the area.

Location was perfect. Literally 5 minutes from the d’uomo and Galleria. Surrounded by restaurants. Check in was easy and well explained. The concierge for the building was friendly and helpful. He stored our luggage for us while we arranged transport
What could be improved: Shower head needs replacing.Exceptional – Mergim from Kosovo – 24 September 2025 (10/10)
I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this apartment. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The host was extremely welcoming and provided all the information I needed for a smooth check-in and throughout my stay. The location was also perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transport options.
The apartment itself exceeded my expectations. The space was spacious, with modern amenities, and had everything I needed to feel at home. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen.

Overall great and very spacious appartment, very good location, close to everything but still very quiet. Bathroom could – Biljana from Spain – 10 February 2025 (9/10)
Decor – neutral and modern, easy access, comfort, friendly reception.
What could be improved: Bathroom was a let down comparing to the rest of the decor (but clean and functional).
There was no coffee machine & coffee – it’s a small inexpensive touch that would have given them 10 out of 10.Exceptional – Marko from Croatia – 7 January 2025 (10/10)
Fantastic place in the centre of Milan. Good value for money and larger property than usual.
What could be improved: It was perfect. However kitchen could be better equipped with basic stuff (sugar, salt, olive oil, tea, washing liquid, etc). And maybe just to explain in more detail with recycling what goes into each bin.Exceptional – Erunsal from Germany – 13 December 2024 (10/10)
